Glimpses of the visit to Primary Health Care Center, Nilaje Dombivli on 10th April, 2024, organized for D. pharmacy & B. Pharmacy (Batch A) students. The visit comprised 40 students. Initially Introduction given by Dr. Megha Solanke, then field visit was started under the guidance of Nurse Nilima Patil. During the visit, students were introduced to the various departments and services offered at the Primary Health Care Centre. The visit also emphasized the importance of patient counselling and medication adherence. Students learned about the process of medication dispensing, labelling, and patient education as they visited Medicine store and Medicine distribution window. They were introduced to the principles of rational drug use and the role of pharmacists in promoting safe and effective medication practices.
Students also visited Vaccination department, Pathology lab where they observed the working of Patho lab then after that they visited Covid patient observation ward and Delivery ward. Then after that the question-and-answer session was conducted and various question was asked by the students and all the questions were answer by Dr. Megha Solanke.

Tree Plantation drive organized by the NSS cell of Bombay Institute of Pharmacy & Research (BIPR) on 10th April, 2024. Tree plantation inaugurated by Hon. *Pulse-2024: Annual Cultural Event* at Bombay Institute of Pharmacy & Research

*Date*: 09th March 2024 *Venue*: Auditorium, BIPR
*Overview*: Bombay Institute of Pharmacy & Research sparkled with creativity and talent as it hosted its annual cultural event, *Pulse-2024*. The event was a vibrant tapestry of student performances, showcasing a diverse range of arts from dance and singing to mime and skits.

Special Guests: The event was elevated by the presence of esteemed actors *Ankush Choudhary* and *Sana Shinde*, whose attendance added a touch of glamour and inspiration for the students. The programme was graced by the presence of *Hon. Mr. Malhar Narvekar*, CEO, BIPR; *Hon. Mrs. Purvashi Narvekar*; *Dr. Vinod Mule*, Principal, BIPR & all teaching & non-teaching faculty members.

*Highlights*:
• *Dance*: Students set the stage on fire with their energetic moves and rhythmic expressions.
• *Singing*: Melodious voices resonated through the halls, as budding singers performed solo and group numbers.
• *Mime*: Silent stories were powerfully conveyed through expressive mime performances, leaving the audience in wonder.
• *Skit*: Theatrical talents excelled as students enacted thought-provoking and entertaining skits.
• *Fashion Show*: The ramp ignited up with the latest trends as student models walked confidently, displaying an array of stylish outfits.

Pulse-2024 was a resounding success, not only in terms of entertainment but also in nurturing the artistic talents of the students. It was a day where the arts were celebrated, and memories were made to last a lifetime. The event concluded on a high note, with anticipation already building for next year’s edition.

On *March 16, 2023 (Saturday)*, the *Bombay Institute of Pharmacy & Research* organized a visit to the *Traditional Medical-Ayurvedic Pharmacy*. A group of *32 students* participated in this educational excursion. The visit commenced at *12:00 PM*, and the students arrived at the *Regional Usha Ayurvedic Medicine* centre.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to engage with *Dr. Usha Potnis*, who boasts *35 years of experience* in the field. Dr. Potnis provided valuable insights into the *preparation and standardization of Ayurvedic formulations*, as well as details about the company’s products. The faculty members, Ms. Monika Tirale and Ms. Tejswini Balu Gilbile, accompanied the students throughout the visit.
Exploring the world of Ayurvedic medicine and learning from an expert like Dr. Usha Potnis must have been an enriching experience for the students! 🌿🔍

Glimpses of *Botanical Garden Study Visit* at *Maharashtra Nature Park Society, Sian* for the students of first year D. Pharmacy. The visit started at 12 pm & guide Mr. Nitesh Nikam introduced the motive and theme behind the establishment of garden and then field visit was started. In park students visited different section like Butterfly garden, Nakshatra van, Rain water harvesting, Wooded area section, Nursery section.
Students visited a butterfly garden, an aviary and a nursery that showcased a range of exotic and indigenous plant species. They also visited all the sections of the park such as vermicomposting section, nursery section, medicinal plant section, etc. The visit coordinated by Ms. Tejswini Gilbile along with Mrs. Monika Tirale & Mrs. Smita Godse.
