Learning at Lalit English School goes beyond textbooks — it grows through curiosity, creativity, and confidence.

Our recent Science Exhibition beautifully showcased this spirit. Students presented thoughtful models and ideas, explaining their projects with enthusiasm and clarity. The joy of learning, supported by teachers and encouraged by parents, was clearly visible throughout the day.

What made the exhibition special was the sense of community — parents, teachers, and students engaging together, celebrating effort, curiosity, and understanding rather than competition.

Events like these reflect our belief in nurturing inquisitive minds, strong communication skills, and a love for learning from an early age.

At Lalit English School, education is a shared journey — where every child is encouraged to explore and grow.

The problem with learning paradigm at many homes and schools, is emphasis on rote learning . Memorizing ,remembering , repeating without understanding ,digesting and evaluating .

We at Lalit School firmly believe in understanding , we encourage our children to think on their own, we push them to question all the assumption including the most fundamental assumption , it is the question that brings clarity , creativity and life long learning !

Glimpses of Science exhibition in the School and we are proud that we didn't help much. Whenever there was difficulty , obstacles , we as teachers just asked few questions and our students made all possible effort to get the answer and required clarity to execute their projects.

This year Janmashtami was on 7th September and on 6th September , there was such an intense sun and scorching heat that rain looked like impossible event . But at the midnight when Kanha was actually born , black clouds started appearing , lightening struck and downpour happened that lasted for few hours .

In recent memory , probably there was not a single Janmashatmi when it didn't rain heavily just the way we have read in our epics . It's a testament to our scientific knowledge, our traditions and faith.

It makes us sing with all the devotion and bliss

I am tying the thread , which tied the great king Bali . Ohh thread ( rakhi ) , please remain steadfast in your commitment of protection !!!!!

Long before West invented days like Mother’s day , Father’s day , Friendship day , we had our own very unique day - Rakshabandhan .

Though of late , the day has become synonymous with love , affection and bond between brother and sister , but Rakhi can be tied to anyone who we love with all our heart and seek their protection and care !

Celebration of such festivals in School with all the fun fare makes our children value our traditions and philosophy/ thinking behind those traditions and at the same time cement the bonds of friendship and care - a bond which lasts beyond school , teenage, youth and often till life !!

 चैतन्याचा गाभा… विटेवर उभा

पालख्यांचा सोहळा नाही..वारकऱ्यांचा मेळा नाही

मागतो मी पांडुरंगा फक्त एकदान
मिळे ज्याने मुक्ती ऐसे द्यावे दान

पंढरीनिवासा सख्या पांडुरंगा

रखूमाईवर
उभा विटेवर
कर कटेवर ठेऊनिया

भगवंता, तव तेज ह्या तिमिरात दे आता”
टाळ वाजे, मृदुंग वाजे, वाजे हरीच्या वीणा ! माऊली निघाले पंढरपुरा, मुखाने विठ्ठल विठ्ठल बोला…! आषाढी एकादशीच्या शुभेच्छा… !

Indian festivals are so full of color , happiness , excitement and contentment . We are basically highly positive people and our festivals are testament to this underlying cultural reality of indian civilisation and as usual our students are always at the forefront in showcasing our cultural heritage .
