On Saturday, May 17, 2025, students of Nancy International School embarked on an educational excursion to the historic Baba Ram Rai Gurudwara. As part of their project to explore Dehradun's rich history, the students were warmly welcomed by the Maharaj ji with immense love and hospitality.

The guide took the students on a tour, showcasing various significant places within the Gurudwara that hold historical importance. The students gained valuable insights into the city's heritage, including the origin of Dehradun's name, which is attributed to the 'dera' (abode) of Baba Ram Rai ji.

The trip was a resounding success, filled with exploration, experiential learning, and joy, leaving a lasting impression on the young minds.

Nancy International School celebrated its Investiture Ceremony with great enthusiasm, graced by the esteemed presence of the school management. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome of the management and an invocation to Goddess Saraswati, seeking blessings.

The student council marched in with pride, holding the school flag high. Mr. Harbhajan Singh and Mrs. Ravindra Kaur then pinned badges to the students, symbolizing their roles and responsibilities.

The School Principal conducted the oath ceremony, emphasizing the significance of holding these badges. The management body inspired the students with words of wisdom and congratulated them on their new roles.

Nancy International School celebrated Mother's Day with great enthusiasm, valuing the efforts of mothers. The program commenced with a warm welcome of the management and an invocation to Goddess Saraswati, seeking blessings.

The school choir's melodious songs filled the auditorium with love and warmth. The principal's thought-provoking presentation on emotional well-being was insightful.

Mothers actively participated in fun-filled activities like musical chairs and a ramp walk, making the event engaging and memorable.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Academic Head, Mrs. Karen Mishra, followed by the National Anthem.

Nancy International School celebrated the 76th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The day began with a solemn flag-hoisting ceremony, where the school's Chairman, Mr. Harbhajan Singh, Director, Mr. Tejender Singh and Principal Mrs Priyanka Monga proudly unfurled the national flag.

The school choir then presented a mesmerizing performance, singing patriotic songs that stirred the hearts of everyone present. The melodies and harmonies filled the air, rekindling the spirit of nationalism and pride in the students, teachers, and staff.

The School Head Girl delivered a thought-provoking speech on the occasion, highlighting the significance of Republic Day and the importance of upholding the values of democracy, freedom, and unity. On 11 January 2025, Nancy International school successfully organized a Health Camp in collaboration with Graphic Era Hospital and Lions club Doiwala to promote health awareness and ensure the well-being of students, staff, and the local community. The initiative of organizing the event was taken by Mr Harbhajan singh , the chairman of the school. The event took place in the school premises and witnessed an overwhelming response from students, parents, and teachers alike.
The camp began at 10:30 am with a warm welcome by the school coordinator , who emphasized the importance of regular health check-ups and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. It was further headed by Professor B.S Bisht, who told us the importance of healthy lifestyle.A team of qualified doctors like Dr. Suprareek (General Physician),Dr. Manish (Orthopedic Surgeon ),Dr. Vaibhav (Ophthalmologist),Dr. Sameer (Pediatrician ),Dr. Yogita (Gynaecologist ) and healthcare professionals conducted various check-ups, including:
General health examination
Eye check-ups
ECG
Blood pressure and sugar level tests
Additionally, interactive health education sessions were held to raise awareness about hygiene, balanced diets, and the significance of physical activities.
Free medicines, health kits, and informative brochures were distributed to attendees. Parents appreciated the initiative, highlighting how the camp provided access to quality healthcare within the school environment.
The camp concluded with a vote of thanks from the school authorities, who extended their gratitude to the medical team and volunteers for their dedication and support. The event not only fostered a sense of health consciousness but also strengthened the bond between the school and its community.
