Independence Day Celebrated at Government High School Ablimasri

Ablimasri, Zone Gundna: Government High School Ablimasri, Zone Gundna, celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India on 15 August 2026 with patriotic fervour, enthusiasm and due solemnity.

The programme commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Headmaster, HS Ablimasri, Shri Bikram Singh, who thereafter took the salute of the assembled students, teaching staff and members of the community. The National Anthem was sung with pride and dignity, creating an atmosphere of patriotism and national spirit.

The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teaching staff, parents and senior citizens of the local community. Their presence added dignity and significance to the occasion and reflected the strong bond between the school and the community.

On the occasion, Headmaster Shri Bikram Singh addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of Independence Day, the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and the duties and responsibilities of citizens in nation-building. He called upon the students to uphold the values of unity, integrity, discipline, patriotism and constitutional responsibility, and to become responsible and productive citizens of the country.

Students presented various patriotic, cultural and educational activities, demonstrating their talent, confidence and love for the nation. The performances were appreciated by the gathering and received an encouraging response from parents and senior citizens.

As a gesture of appreciation and encouragement, medals were distributed among all the participants who took part in the various activities of the Independence Day programme. The Headmaster appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to continue participating actively in co-curricular and national activities.

The celebration concluded with a strong message of “Nation First”, reaffirming the commitment of the school community towards patriotism, responsible citizenship, quality education and the overall development of students.
