This year on Holi we celebrated holi with flowers, which gave us the joy of being mindful of our environment. The beautiful group dance added more colour and joy to the celebration.

We encourage all of you to work together to protect our environment by playing an eco-friendly Holi.

International Women's day is not only a beautiful opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of all the wonderful women around us, but it's also an important day for all of us (men & women) to come together to address the existing gender gaps in our society.
As look at how far we have come in our efforts towards women empowerment and gender equality, I strongly feel that we need to join hands and continue moving forward as a collective, as there is a long way to go.

I feel blessed to have such wonderful men and women around whose support has been a source of strength for me. At the same time, when I meet my students in the college I often find myself thinking about all that needs to be done which fills me with the same energy to work towards women empowerment that I had on my first day as Sarpanch on 4th of Feb of 2010!
