Diphu B.Ed. College Diphu B. Ed. College was established in the year 1994. The Attitude to begin Social and Educational The need of having a B.Ed. But then, it was a distant dream.

The college is located around 6 km from Diphu town on the Lumding Road (NH329), the headquarter of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council of Assam. Overcoming many ups and downs, the College has passed more than a decade now. At present, the College is a unique center of Higher Education and a unique center for learning, recognized by the Assam (Central) University, Silchar and National Council for Teac

hers’ Education (NCTE). We are advancing to develop multi-skills out of a professional in the academic sphere. The underlying spirit and enthusiasm of the today’s to be uplifted to proficient outlook. We are utilizing our effort optimally in gaining knowledge and refining our skills. College at Diphu has been felt by many educationists, parents guardians and also by the senior citizens of Diphu town way back in 1975. The dream was then confined to some leading citizens and some officials of the town as no one took the responsibility and burden for its establishment. That was the reason why the proposals and initiatives for the noble cause ended up in some departmental files for years. The reason was not financing but attitude - "The Attitude to begin Social and Educational Change."

As notified by KAAC authority Memo no. KAAC/Ely.Edn/ 2013-14/25 dated the 06/11/22 the college will remain closed till 12th November, 2022 due to the widespread of Dengue in Diphu town.
Regular classes will be held from 14/11/22 (Monday).
