There’s something special about seeing a family grow together through music.

We’re so happy to share that our own Mr. Albert Kanken Odyuo and Ms. Khristin Kimeri have been featured in the first part of a two-part series by Eastern Mirror, highlighting the musical journeys of four siblings.

Their story is one of passion, perseverance, and a lifelong love for music. We feel privileged to have them not only as part of our college family, but also as teachers who continue to inspire, guide, and shape young musicians.

Faculty Seminar 2026
As part of our Faculty Development Programme, Golden Crown Theological College continues its commitment to the ongoing learning and professional growth of its teaching faculty through the monthly Faculty Seminar.

The seminar provides a platform for faculty members to present and engage with academic papers, followed by responses and discussion from fellow faculty members. Senior students are also invited to participate in the interaction, creating a meaningful space for learning, dialogue, and theological reflection across the college community.

This month’s seminar Ms. Vezokholu Vero (NT), presented her paper, “Jesus’ Baptism in Matthew 3:13–17: An Exegetical Study of ‘Fulfilling All Righteousness’,” with Ms. Chuchule Seb (OT) as respondent.

The session encouraged thoughtful engagement on Jesus’ baptism, righteousness, obedience, identification with humanity, and the significance of baptism for Christian faith and practice.

It’s 1st of July & just like that a new academic year begins! Welcome back home returning students, and to the new students welcome to the GCTC family - a place where we aim to serve God together for life.

Dear students, to ease the post holiday blues, the faculty actually arrived a week earlier than you for the faculty orientation & retreat in order to fully prepare for the exciting academic year ahead! 🙌 Plus, watch out students, we are starting off the semester with Faculty Recital from our church music full time & adjunct lecturers. ARE YOU READY!!???

Memories of short term course: GCTC’s signature summer course - an intensive four weeks of music lessons! 5 hours of teachings, and 2 hours of group study - from Monday to Friday! This year we had an interesting and enthusiastic bunch of students ranging from their late teens to as young as 65, coming from town and villages in Nagaland, Meghalaya, and Assam. Learning never stops and we are glad to be a blessings to the churches in our part of the world. See you next summer (Tentative dates: 17 May to 11 June 2027) Till the , stay safe and rejoice in the Lord 🙌

(PS: this year we had the privilege to do a mini missions trip to Karbi Assam, and also join English service at LBCD. Praise God)

On 30th April 2026, we joyfully celebrated 22nd Graduation Ceremony, giving thanks to God for His faithfulness and grace throughout another academic year.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all graduates as they embark on the next chapter of their ministry and service to God's Kingdom.
