R5 Sinai Ministry Leadership School

R5 Sinai Ministry Leadership School R5 is a month long residential school with the purpose to disciple, train and release leaders for this generation in obedience to the Bible. What? Why?

An initiative of the Sinai Ministry, R5 is a month long residential school with the purpose to disciple, train and release future leaders in obedience to the Bible. Our goal is to extend the kingdom of God by emulating and applying heavens’ standards here on earth. R5 stands for Revive, Restore, Recruit, Release and Reform. Since its establishment in the year 2006 the Sinai Ministry has been organ

izing revivals and crusades in all the districts of Nagaland. The ministry has also responded to the invitations of various churches and organizations to lead worship and provide resources for training and seminars. The experience and response has been tremendous during these interactions yet over the years one concern that burdened our hearts was the endurance of the fruits of all these events. Most of the events mentioned above are said and done in three or four days and often the time is hardly enough to even getting to know any person, (this is not to belittle the power of the gospel and the work of the Holy spirit) the modus-operandi of all these events (camps, revivals and crusades) are like a ‘hit and run operations’ where you present the gospel and the next thing you know the programme is already over. Case for instance, if we were to repeat the same programme within the next couple of months in the same place for the same set of people, chances are that the same persons responding to the altar calls will be as high as 80% or more. As positive and passionate as the responses are during the revivals and crusades, the percentage of people that continue to walk in faithfulness is very marginal. In most cases there is a lack of timely follow-ups, peer support, mentoring and discipleship that people just drift back into the past lifestyles and being overwhelmed by mundane realities. Although the idea of a school may not be the total solution, it will give us an opportunity to train, coach and impart kingdom values and principles in a comprehensive and personal manner. Our vision at Sinai Ministry is to raise a generation of Nagas who will grow to the full stature of sons and daughters of God and then impact the church and society. We dream of Godly leadership in the market place, politics, NGO’s, government departments, academia and religious institutions. To that end we ought to raise up leadership that will funnel revival from the church and into the various arenas of our daily pursuits and translate it into transformed societies. At R5 we desire to invest our time and resources into the lives of future leaders over an extended period of time, impacting Life upon Life through a series of curriculum and personal interactions that will launch you towards the destiny that will accomplish the purpose of God upon you in your lifetime.
