Recreational Trip
"Sunshine, smiles, and swings!"
Joy fills the day as our little stars shine bright on their recreational trip to Merryland park!
We traded books for fun activities, classrooms for great outdoors, and lessons for exploring and bonding. The excitement was palpable as they discovered the joys of making new friends, playing, and growing together.
The Merryland management team was kind enough to offer snacks and juice for free and Our tiny tots enjoyed a delightful mini-picnic, and savoring yummy treats . It was a day filled with adventure, learning and lots of fun!

Effective, interactive and engaging Teachers Seminar was held on 29th November with Mrs. Vinita Sharma as the resource person. With extensive experience in the teaching field, she has taught in various international schools for the past 30 years and also published in-house work books for schools in India .
The focus of our Seminar was, "Lesson planning" which is the backbone of effective teaching. Keeping in mind that dedicated training helps educators turn ideas into structured, engaging learning experiences, our resource person, Mrs. Vinita covered the 5 E's of a lesson plan- Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate and Evaluate. Overall, the educators experienced a blend of theory, practice and ongoing reflection which when applied into everyday classroom teaching, learning will be more purposeful and create a dynamic learning environment.

Part 1 - The much awaited Annual Sports Meet took place in the lush playgrounds of the school from 12-14 November 2025. The students of the four different houses competed against each other for track and field events, Taekwondo, Lawn Tennis, Football, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho and fun games. Apart from students participation, the parents too participated in two different events.
The three-day event came to a close with Shri. Wutsutho Nyuthe, District Sports Officer, Chumoukedima as Special Guest who gave away the coveted trophies, medals and certificates.
The Sports Meet truly highlighted the grit, resilience and sportsmanship, innate in every individual student.

We are thrilled to share that three of our students Swara Jain, Yashvi Jain and Nillo Chisho were selected to participate in the State Level Painting Competition 2025, representing the school with great talent and creativity.
Among them, Swara Jain has won First Prize, a remarkable achievement in a competition that saw participation from 30+ schools across the state.
Organised by the Ministry of Power, Government of India, through the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), this initiative promotes awareness on energy conservation through art.
We are excited to announce that Swara will now represent the State at the National Level Painting Competition in Delhi this December.
We wish her the very best as she steps onto the national stage!

Field Trip to Botanical Garden – Arboretum Cum Craft Centre, Matipung, Diphu, Assam

N.N. Nagi School organized an enriching field trip for Grades 5 to 10 to the Arboretum Cum Craft Centre, Matipung, Diphu. The visit offered hands-on learning about nature, fruit cultivation, medicinal plants, and environmental conservation.
Students explored various fruit-bearing trees, learned about local plant species, and understood the value of biodiversity. Interactive sessions with botanists and garden staff further deepened their knowledge of sustainable practices.

The lush greenery, fresh air, and outdoor learning made the trip both enjoyable and educational, inspiring students to appreciate nature and the importance of plant conservation.

The students of Grades 1 to 4 participated in an enriching educational field trip to the Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre, Sovima.

During the visit, the students gained valuable insights into the diverse varieties of bamboo and observed the intricate process of bamboo treatment. They also witnessed the production of bamboo-based items such as charcoal briquettes, incense sticks, and other handcrafted products made from this remarkably versatile material.

The visit not only enhanced their understanding of the region’s rich botanical heritage but also instilled in them a deeper appreciation for the principles of sustainability and environmental stewardship.

The Science and Mathematics Department of N.N. Nagi School successfully organised the 3rd Educational Fair on 16th October 2025. The exhibition aimed to foster scientific curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills among students.

Students from Grades 1 to 10 participated with great enthusiasm, presenting over 30 innovative projects and working models on topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Renewable Energy, Technology and Coding, Mathematical Patterns, and Water Conservation. The Mathematics section featured engaging puzzles, quizzes, and practical demonstrations of geometric concepts, while the Science section showcased experiments and eco-friendly innovations.

The fair attracted a large number of parents, who appreciated the students’ efforts and creativity. Overall, the event served as a valuable platform for experiential learning, inspiring students to apply classroom knowledge to real-life contexts.
