The Department of History in collaboration with the Heritage Club organised the 5th Dynamic Fusion on 7th May 2026 at the SJU Auditorium, a departmental event blending academic tradition with creative student expression. The program was divided into two distinct parts: a prestigious Formal Session followed by an engaging Informal Session featuring various talent competitions.
Ms. Bozila Neinu of PG.II chaired the formal session. The session begins with an invocation prayer by Mr. Lulen Moa Changkiri of UG.IV. Ms. Lydia of UG.VI & Ms. Tonikali of UG.IV enthralled the audience with the melodious special song performance.
Prof.Dr. Avinuo Chupuo, Head of the Department, Department of History, delivered the welcome address speech. The formal session concluded with the vote of thanks by Bendanginla of UG.VI, Programme Organising Secretary, History Department Association.
Transitioning into a more relaxed atmosphere, the informal session was hosted by Ms. Kighakali G Awomi of PG.VI and Mr. Achan UG.II. This segment was dedicated to student creativity through several competitive categories, which are as follows:
UG.IV semester emerged as the winner of the Fun-drama competition, followed by UG.II semester as the runners-up.
UG.II semester emerged as the winner of the Silly Step Show Down competition, while UG.IV & PG.II won the 2nd & 3rd positions respectively.
Ms. Nzanti UG.II semester emerged as the winner of the Paper Costume Show competition, while Mr. Huve-o PG.II semester & Ms. Pongthsi UG.VI semester, won the 2nd & 3rd positions respectively.
Mr. Hanlumong UG.VI semester emerged as the winner of the Stand-Up Comedy, followed by Mr. Longham & Mr. Khumvilo UG-.II as the runners-up.
Ms. Bozila Neinu of PG.II semester emerged as the winner of the Voice of Historian competition, while Ms. Hiwehatsou UG.VI semester & Ms. Luzelo and Ms. Kinitolu (Duet) UG.IV semester, won the 2nd & 3rd positions respectively.
In total, around 230, including students and faculty, attended the 5th Dynamic Fusion 2026; the event was coordinated by Mr. K Hokato Sumi and Dr.Lanuchila Changkiri, Assistant Professor, Department of History, SJU.
