The Five-Day Workshop on “Crafting Digital Resources for Languages of Nagaland” began today at Tetso College, Sovima, with the inaugural session bringing together educators, linguists, researchers, and cultural voices to celebrate and strengthen the rich linguistic heritage of Nagaland.

The inaugural programme featured the Watering of the Tree of Wisdom, traditional song, welcome and presidential addresses, and an inspiring address by Chief Guest Smt. Sentila I. Yanger, Padma Shree awardee and State Convenor, INTACH Nagaland Chapter.
Organised by the Department of Linguistics, Tetso College, in collaboration with the Centre of North Eastern Language Development, Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Mysuru, the workshop will explore how digital resources can contribute to documenting, preserving, and promoting the diverse languages of Nagaland.
