Mdm. Anna Pamei, who served MGM Higher Secondary School, Dimapur for 28 years as a Primary Teacher, was accorded a warm send-off by the school fraternity. The program was hosted by the Headmaster, Mr. Biswajit Paul, who described Madam Anna as a dedicated teacher who steadfastly cared for the Pre-Primary children. He fondly recalled working alongside her for all these years and appreciated her commitment and sincerity.

The Vice President, Fr. Giju George, extended his gratitude and best wishes to Madam Anna. He remarked that through her careful and loving hands, hundreds of young children had begun their schooling journey. He further noted that her motherly affection and love for the children had immensely contributed to the growth of the school.

In his address, the Principal, Mr. Reji Abraham, described Madam Anna as a faithful soldier of the school who stood by the institution during both its thick and thin periods. He emphasized that being a Primary teacher is one of the toughest professions, requiring immense patience and passion to sustain such a long tenure. He thanked Madam Anna for her dedicated service and valuable contribution to the school, and wished her a happy and fulfilling life with her children and grandchildren in the years to come.

Madam Anna delivered an emotional farewell speech, expressing her heartfelt gratitude to the MGM management for giving her the opportunity to serve the school. She shared that she would deeply miss the young children and her colleagues.

KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION CEREMONY
MGM Higher Secondary School, Dimapur
8th December 2025

The Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony of MGM Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, was held on 8th December 2025 at the school premises. The programme commenced at 9:00 a.m. under the warm and cheerful hosting of Miss Lanilu Kamson. The event brought together parents, teachers, and students to celebrate the young graduates as they prepared to step into the next stage of their academic journey.

The ceremony began at 8:50 a.m. with a delightful Parade of Young Graduates to the Venue, marking an enthusiastic start to the celebration. This was followed by the Invocation prayer led by Mrs. Anna Pamei, seeking blessings for the day’s proceedings and for the bright future of the children.

The Welcome Address was delivered by Mr. Reji Abraham, Principal, who warmly greeted the gathering and highlighted the importance of early childhood education in shaping confidence, creativity, and foundational learning in young minds.

A Special Song presented by the UKG students added charm and innocence to the programme, showcasing the talents of the children and reflecting the hard work put in by both teachers and students.

Words of Gratitude were shared by Mrinali Gupta, who expressed appreciation on behalf of the kindergarten students to the teachers, parents, and school management for their constant support and encouragement.

Mr. Biswajit Paul, Headmaster who spoke on the occassion congratulated the young graduates and extended best wishes for next level of their schooling journey. He emphasized the value of nurturing young learners with love, care, and a strong educational foundation.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the Felicitation of Young Graduates, where each child was felicitated with a Graduation Certificate for successfully completing the kindergarten programme. The moment was filled with pride, joy, and applause from children’s parents and rest of the audience.

The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Miss Rakhi Das, who conveyed her heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to making the event a grand success.

MGM Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, Nagaland, celebrated its 39th Annual Day on 15th November 2025, at 2:30 p.m., embracing the theme “Spectrum of Dreams.” The event was an inspiring showcase of artistic talent, academic achievement, and cultural heritage, reflecting the school’s dedication to holistic education and the nurturing of aspirations.

Shri. Geoffrey Yaden, Chief Editor and Publisher of Nagaland Post was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

The program commenced with a solemn Bible reading and invocation led by Miss Iluiheile, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp—a symbolic act representing the dispelling of darkness and the advent of enlightenment. A brief prologue presented by students from various classes set the tone for a festive and vibrant evening, capturing the essence of the celebration.

Principal Reji Abraham delivered welcome address, expressing gratitude to all stakeholders and recognizing the achievements of the school over the past years. He emphasized the significance of the theme “Spectrum of Dreams,” highlighting the role of determination and innovative thinking in shaping the future of every student. The Principal extended a special welcome to the Chief Guest, Shri Geoffrey Yaden, Chief Editor and Publisher of Nagaland Post for his inspirational and pioneering efforts in developing public opinion in Nagaland.

Fr. Giju George, Vice President, delivered the presidential address, commending the
school’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and holistic development. He recalled the journey of MGM since its inception in 1985 and acknowledged the contributions of past principals, staff, and alumni. Fr. Giju expressed deep appreciation for the tireless efforts of teachers and the steadfast support of parents, urging the
school community to remain united and committed to nurturing future generations.

The Chief Guest, Shri Geoffrey Yaden, congratulated MGM for its inspiring performance and highlighted the importance of an education. Yaden commended the school for adopting new approaches that support the transformation of students. He pointed out that education has moved beyond a purely textbook based to one that includes extracurricular engagement and holistic development that encompasses social, emotional, physical, and moral growth.

He reminded students of the significance of discipline

Mr. Mughato Swu, representing alumni, expressed pride in his formative years at MGM and gratitude for the opportunities received, reaffirming the lasting impact of his alma mater.

The evening progressed into an array of cultural performances that made the huge gathering of parents and guardians enthralled.
Nursery children delighted the audience with “Pretty Little Baby,” followed by the MGM Choir’s soulful presentation. Dynamic dances included the Remix Dance by Classes 1 & 2, Lungi Dance by LKG & UKG, Cinematic Dance by Classes 3 & 4, and the Naga Bamboo Dance by Class 10, each reflecting the school’s rich diversity and
heritage. Insightful speeches added depth to the program.

Students from various classes presented captivating performances, including Steps of Heritage (Classes 6, 7 & 8), Trio – Trust in You (Classes 9 & 12), Magic of Hands (Class 5), and a vibrant South Filmy Dance by the Dance Club. The Music Club entertained with an 80’s Mash-up, and Taekwondo students exhibited their martial arts skills in a dynamic choreography. The Drama Club’s thought-provoking play “Dreams & Stages of Life” received enthusiastic applause, echoing the event’s central theme.

The Mar Theodosius Award was conferred upon deserving students in recognition of outstanding achievement and dedication.
The program concluded with a gracious vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Biswajit Paul, Headmaster, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem.
