WORLD SOCIAL WORK DAY | Today we celebrate the Social Work profession and promote the vital work of Social Workers to our community.

The theme for this year is Co-building a New Eco-Social Work: Leaving No One Behind. The theme presents a vision and action plan to create new global values, policies and practices that develop trust, security and confidence for all people and the sustainability of the planet.

Diwali Celebration at Centre for Social Work Studies, Dibrugarh University on 4th of November, 2021.

Centre for Social Work Studies, Dibrugarh University signed an MoU with Seven Sisters Development Assistance (SeSTA), on the 3rd of November 2021. Hopefully this MoU will help the students of the centre get the exposure they require, and will also prove to be beneficial for the people.

Yesterday, Centre for Social Work Studies, Dibrugarh University organized an Induction Programme for the 1st semester students (2021-2023 batch). Prof. Himadri Barman, Centre for Management Studies, Prof. Deb Kr Chakraborty, Dept. of Economics, Prof. Nitul Kumar Gogoi, Chairperson, Centre for Social Work Studies and Dr. Utpal Das, Librarian I/C, Dibrugarh University were present as resource persons and shed light on several significant subjects.
