In Memoriam: Shri Zubeen Garg

The Editorial Board of The Rising Marian mourns the passing of Shri Zubeen Garg, the Bard of Assam, an iconic artist whose music touched millions and brought pride to our state. His remarkable contribution to Assamese culture and music will be remembered with reverence.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, admirers, and all those whose lives he enriched through his art.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

In Loving Memory of Mayur Saikia

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Mayur Saikia, alumnus of St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Dibrugarh (Class of 1995). He will be fondly remembered and missed by the entire Marian family.
