The very aim of this forum is to primarily facilitate the greater student community with these opportunities, so that they can keep themselves abreast with the newer horizons that the Industry aims to explore . It is a matter of concern that in the coming decade approximately fifty percent(50%) of experienced and managerial personnel of international oil companies industrywide are expected to retire. As a matter of fact though this will not all happen on a single day, it will create voids of experience creating simultaneous gaps of unprecedented proportions in the staffs of many international and national oil companies. To compensate losses due to this phenomenon to the maximum amount possible, FPE will strive to retain the experince of the outgoing crew and work relentlessly to pass on the experince to the newer generation of crew coming in to the Industry. FPE understands and emphasises on to start the grooming process of the students studying Petroleum Engineering and aliied courses, who will be working in the Industry during their periods of study in the graduating phase of their careers.
