APU celebrates Teachers’ Day



DIPRO, PASIGHAT, Sep 5: Apex Professional University (APU), Pasighat celebrated the “Gurutsav’15” (Teachers Day) today with much pomp and revelry. The celebration was formally inaugurated by the Rtd. IAS officer Oshong Ering, by lightning the ceremonial lamp amidst Social Worker Gandhi Darin and prominent leader Onam Doming, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. A. A. Dange, Registrar, Dy. Registrar, PRO, faculties and students of the university.


Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Ering recollected the early days of education and appealed to the present generation to become technologically sound to be worthy citizens of the nation, sharing his lifelong experiences. All the dignitaries present on the occasion spoke on quality education and teachers-students relationship. VC Dr. Dange categorically explained the mission of APU and its future course of action in details.


Other highlight of the day was cultural presentation by the students to show their hidden talents and Bhangra dance staged by Harjit Singh and party enthralled the audience.
