: Dibrugarh’s Young Talent Abhishree Paul Wins Bronze at State Kickboxing Championship
Six-year-old Abhishree Paul, daughter of Mrs.Ruby Dutta and Dr. Abhijit Paul of Dibrugarh, delivered an impressive performance at the 7th State Level Kickboxing Championship 2026 by securing a bronze medal.
Abhishree displayed remarkable talent, confidence, and determination throughout the competition under the guidance of experienced mentors Shri Raju Rajak, President of the Amateur Kickboxing Dibrugarh District Association, and Shri Ajay Das, coach of the association.
Her achievement was widely appreciated by Hiranya Baruah, President of the Amateur Kickboxing Association, Guwahati, Assam, who praised the young athlete for her dedication and promising future in the sport.
The championship was held at the SAI Indoor Stadium in Kokrajhar under the aegis of the WAKO India Kickboxing Federation, the recognized national governing body for kickboxing in India.
Abhishree’s success at such a young age is being seen as an inspiration for many other young girls, encouraging them to pursue sports and strive for excellence in the future.
