DAY 1: MONDAY - August 5, 2024
TLM (Teaching- Learning Material) Day
Enhanced Learning: Engaging TLM fosters deeper understanding and caters to diverse learning styles.
Improved Accessibility: Low-cost materials reduce financial barriers to effective learning resources.
Environmental Sustainability: Utilizing recycled or readily available resources promotes environmental awareness.
Skill Development: TLM creation fosters creativity, problem-solving, and collaborative learning skills.

Hackathon event is to be organized to nurture the hidden talents and problem solving nature among the students. The potential of creativity and critical thinking capacity of students should be recognized and encouraged as per the National Education Policy. Therefore, Our School organize Hackathon as per guideline referred above in the PMSHRI schools

Day 7 Theme: ‘Say No to Single Use Plastic’
Suggestive Activities
● Take “Say No to Plastic” Pledge - all students & teachers.
● Organise Plastic audits in the school premises.
● Make a list of single use plastic items used.
● Find out eco-friendly substitutes eg. steel mugs instead of styro foam cups, & reusable water bottles instead of plastic water bottles.
● Generate awareness regarding the hazardous impact of single use plastic on our planet through activities eg. poster making, debates, slogan writing, essay writing etc.
● Put up the best posters on the school notice boards. (visual impact)
● Awareness campaigns to mobilize community for adopting ecofriendly habits use of jute bags, buying local & nature friendly goods & so on.

Metric: amount of single use plastic collected, number of plastic water bottles replaced etc,.

Day-6 Mission life Activity: Topic: Save Water
1. Involve students in tabulating water wastage in school.
Check for leaks in flush systems, faucets and water pipes and report to
the eco-club teacher In-charge.
2. Students along with their teachers can collect water from nearby storage
systems and tarry out testswater purity. Appropriate arrangements can be
made in school labs.
3. Organise water conservation rally along with the community. Grandparents
of the students may be called in the schools, where they can share water
conservation practices adopted in the past and how students can be made
more active towards saving water.
4. Organise awareness sessions about rainwater harvesting system and its
benefits.
Metric; number of leaks detected, reduction in water consumption over a week.

Mission Life Day-5
Topic- Save Energy
1. Encourage students to carrf out energy saving activities like switching off
tube-lights, bulbs, electronic gadgets when not in use.
2. Establish energy team within eco-club.
3. Energy team to carry out patrolling to ensure all electrical appliances are
switched off after school hours.
4. Make duty roster of eco-club team members for patrolling.
5. Organise knowledge building sessions on renewable sources of energy may
be organized in collaboration with NGos, power departments etc.
6. Create posters, banners and other visual materials and paste on the school
notice board to raise awareness about the importance of energy
conservation.
7. Invest in solar panels.
8. Metric; reduction in electricity bills in school, units of solar power generated (incase solar
panel installed in school)
