World Environment Day Celebration ☘️

A plantation drive was organized as another significant initiative by FIPI DU SC. This event reflected our collective commitment towards environmental conservation, biodiversity enhancement, and creating a greener campus for future generations.

Venue: Department of Petroleum Technology, Dibrugarh University

Students and faculty members actively participated in planting saplings within the Department of Petroleum Technology premises. The initiative aimed to promote ecological awareness and encourage sustainable practices among the university community. Through teamwork and enthusiasm, participants contributed to enhancing the green cover of the campus while reinforcing the importance of environmental stewardship and responsible citizenship.

The Plantation Drive served as a meaningful step towards building a healthier and more sustainable environment through student-led initiatives.

Glimpse of CODE GREEN 2026

Following the successful launch of GEONOVA (2026–27), CODE GREEN – Cleanliness Drive was the second event under GEONOVA. This initiative brought together dedicated volunteers to promote environmental sustainability, cleanliness, and community responsibility across the campus.

Date: 22nd May 2026
Venue: Dibrugarh University Campus

As seen above, students actively participated in sweeping pathways, collecting waste, and clearing debris. From cleaning surrounding university tracks to organizing waste disposal, our volunteers showcased teamwork, civic duty, and a passion for maintaining a green and sustainable ecosystem. The drive offered a hands-on opportunity to emphasize the importance of hygiene and ecological care in our daily student lives.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all participants, volunteers, and organizers for making this second event of GEONOVA a grand success and contributing towards a cleaner, greener campus.

Glimpse of STRATAQUEST 2026

Marking the successful launch of GEONOVA (2026–27), STRATAQUEST – Rocks & Minerals Identification Competition was the first event under GEONOVA, bringing together enthusiastic participants to explore the fascinating world of rocks, minerals, and microscopic observations.

From identifying geological specimens to examining mineral characteristics under the microscope, students showcased remarkable curiosity, observation skills, and a passion for geosciences. FIPI Dibrugarh University Student Chapter proudly presents NAVPRABAH — a celebration of achievements, memories and new beginnings. As we conclude a remarkable tenure, we take this opportunity to honour the dedication, teamwork and accomplishments that shaped our journey throughout the past year. Every event organized, every challenge overcome and every milestone achieved reflects the collective spirit and commitment of our members.

However, NAVPRABAH also marks the start of a new journey. It heralds a period of creativity, innovation and dedication. The upcoming tenure takes its responsibility with renewed fervour and vigour as it strives to carry on the legacy of excellence in the petroleum community.
