World Environment Day Celebration ☘️

A plantation drive was organized as another significant initiative by FIPI DU SC. This event reflected our collective commitment towards environmental conservation, biodiversity enhancement, and creating a greener campus for future generations.

Students and faculty members actively participated in planting saplings within the Department of Petroleum Technology premises. The initiative aimed to promote ecological awareness and encourage sustainable practices among the university community. Through teamwork and enthusiasm, participants contributed to enhancing the green cover of the campus while reinforcing the importance of environmental stewardship and responsible citizenship.

The Plantation Drive served as a meaningful step towards building a healthier and more sustainable environment through student-led initiatives.

Glimpse of CODE GREEN 2026

Following the successful launch of GEONOVA (2026–27), CODE GREEN – Cleanliness Drive was the second event under GEONOVA. This initiative brought together dedicated volunteers to promote environmental sustainability, cleanliness, and community responsibility across the campus.

As seen above, students actively participated in sweeping pathways, collecting waste, and clearing debris. From cleaning surrounding university tracks to organizing waste disposal, our volunteers showcased teamwork, civic duty, and a passion for maintaining a green and sustainable ecosystem. The drive offered a hands-on opportunity to emphasize the importance of hygiene and ecological care in our daily student lives.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all participants, volunteers, and organizers for making this second event of GEONOVA a grand success and contributing towards a cleaner, greener campus.

Marking the successful launch of GEONOVA (2026–27), STRATAQUEST – Rocks & Minerals Identification Competition was the first event under GEONOVA, bringing together enthusiastic participants to explore the fascinating world of rocks, minerals, and microscopic observations.
