Fresher’s Party 2025
As a part of the Indian culture and tradition there was a warm welcome given to juniors from seniors on 27hth November 2025 at Fortune Park Hubli. The formal function was inaugurated with lightning of lamp by the dignitaries. There were many innovative, educational and entertaining games that act as ice breakers between the seniors and juniors apart from songs and dance program.

Farewell 2025 at Fortune Park Hubli
Students of 3rd Semester 2024-26 Batch) arranged farewell for the outgoing senior students on 27th November 2025 at Fortune Park Hubli. The junior’s whole heartedly extended a warm welcome to their seniors. The students organized various games for the senior batch and the entire team of DVHIMSR participated and enjoyed the occasion.

GENESIS 2025 – Cultural Week @ DVHIMSR
Day 1-Talent Hunt and Art Fest of Cultural Week opened with a vibrant showcase of creativity and talent. Students amazed the audience with an innovative paper-costume fashion show, followed by the paint-without-brush event that highlighted imagination beyond tools. The memory drawing competition brought artistic recall to life, while Twist the Beat kept everyone entertained with dynamic slow-motion and fast-motion dance moves set to the music played in the background. The day concluded with a sharp 45-second photography challenge, where stunning captures were compiled into an engaging video display. It was an energetic and inspiring start to the celebrations where the freshers batch participated enthusiastically.

Induction 2025 Day: 3: A session on Icebreaking and Team Building / Personality development
The interactive session by Col. Jitendra Sahastrabudhe on Ice-breaking and Team Building was an inspiring and engaging experience for the MBA batch of 2025–27. Through his dynamic approach, he emphasized the importance of effective communication, teamwork, discipline, and essential life skills for personal and professional growth. The session also included several live exercises that blended fun with learning, allowing students to experience teamwork, coordination, and problem-solving in an enjoyable and meaningful way. Overall, it was a highly motivating session that helped students bond, communicate better, and understand the value of discipline and collaboration in achieving success.

Induction 2025 Day: 3: A session on managing stress and anxiety in personal and professional life
Dr Sudheendra Huddar, consultant psychiatrist at Sukhibhava Healthcare, Hubballi gave an informative session on managing stress and anxiety in personal and professional life on 5th November 2025 as part of orientation program guest lecture series for the 18th batch of DVHIMSR 2025-2027. Through his activities and interactions, he delivered the complex concepts of eustress, distress, chronic stress and acute stress lucidly. He emphasized how emotional ventilation, deep breathing and acceptance helps one manage stress and anxiety. He cautioned the students on detrimental effects of alcohol consumption, smoking and substance use and advised them to avoid such habits.

Induction 2025 Day – 2 a Session on Importance of Communication and Life Skills for a Manager.
Day 2 of the MBA 2025–27 Orientation Programme was an inspiring experience for our budding managers! Mr.Sanjeev Ghanate a senior executive who held senior leadership roles in reputed companies like Reliance Jio, TATA, Nivea etc, who delivered an engaging and thought-provoking session on “Importance of Communication and Life Skills for a Manager.” With engaging stories and practical examples, he reminded everyone that great managers aren’t just decision-makers — they’re great communicators, listeners, and lifelong learners. The session truly inspired students to cultivate strong personal and professional skills for a successful journey ahead.
