🚨 Emergency Readiness Starts with Awareness! 🛡️

At Stanford World School, learning goes beyond books. Our Grade 5 students are learning an important life skill — how to stay calm, think clearly and act safely during an emergency.

🎥 In this special Stanford Talks – Student Voice video, our young learners explore emergency readiness for situations such as:

🔥 Fire
🌍 Earthquake
🩹 Medical Emergency
⚠️ Intrusion
⛈️ Heavy Rain & Thunderstorms

And they learn 3 simple steps that can make a big difference:

💙 1. Keep Calm
🧑‍🏫 2. Tell an Adult
🛡️ 3. Find a Safe Place

Through our Family Emergency Ready Challenge, students are also encouraged to discuss emergency contacts, first-aid kits, safe meeting points and family safety plans at home.

Because education isn't only about preparing children for exams — it's about preparing them for life.

✨ Stay Calm. Plan Ahead. Be Ready.

This Independence Day, our Stanfordians celebrated the spirit of India through meaningful activities filled with creativity, awareness, responsibility and pride.

From tricolour art and science activities to “My Freedom, My Responsibility”, India’s achievements, student reflections, speeches and presentations — every activity helped our children understand that freedom is not only a right, but also a responsibility.

It was wonderful to see our young learners express their love for the nation through their ideas, voices and actions. ❤️

🎙️ Stanford Talks | Episode 4 is Here!

👩‍🏫 Teacher Aur Parent – Ek Hi Team Mein Hain ❤️

A child grows best when teachers and parents work together—not against each other.

When a teacher corrects a child, it is not criticism—it is an opportunity to build discipline, confidence, and lifelong values. And when parents support that guidance at home, children feel secure, learn faster, and develop respect, responsibility, and strong character.

🌱 In this episode, we discuss:
✨ Why teachers and parents must work as one team
✨ How mutual trust helps children succeed
✨ Why supporting a teacher's guidance at home builds confidence
✨ Simple ways to create a positive learning environment for every child

Remember:
A child's success is not built by the school alone or the family alone—it is built when both walk together.

🎙️ Stanford Talks | Episode 3 is Here!

"Comparison bachche ka confidence tod deta hai." 💙

Every parent wants the very best for their child. But one habit we often don't realize can hurt them is comparing them with siblings, cousins, classmates, or friends.

Every child is unique—with their own strengths, talents, and pace of learning. Instead of comparison, let's nurture them with encouragement, appreciation, and understanding.

In Episode 3 of Stanford Talks, discover:
✨ Why comparison lowers a child's confidence and self-esteem
✨ How it affects emotional and personal growth
✨ Practical parenting tips to build confidence through support, not comparison

A confident child isn't created by being "better than others."
They grow when they feel accepted, valued, and believed in. 🌱

🎥 Watch Episode 3 now and be a part of this important conversation on positive parenting.

🎙️ STANFORD TALKS | Episode 1

Can a school alone make your child successful?

As parents, we often focus on providing the best education. But one of the greatest gifts we can offer our children isn't found in textbooks—it's our time, attention, and presence.

💙 Your child may forget many things, but they will always remember whether you truly listened to them.

Take just 10 uninterrupted minutes every day—no mobile phone, no anger, no judgement. Listen, encourage, and connect.

Because a present parent builds a confident child.

🎥 Watch Episode 1 of Stanford Talks featuring Mrs. Babita Thakur, Principal, Stanford World School, as she shares valuable parenting insights to help children grow into confident, responsible, and successful individuals.
