Global Skills Program Young Women’s Global Skills Program is an initiative in support, skills development and vocational educational for young Indian women.

Young Women's Global Skills Program seeks to support the personal and career development of young women through practical qualifications and life skill development. Our approach utilises holistic learning solutions through skills development, long-term career guidance and support, practical experience and reliable, high quality international qualifications. These qualifications are designed and developed by International training and accreditation institutions, giving the students an Internationally recognised qualification at the completion of their studies. These qualifications will lead to increased confidence, skill development, and empowerment and enhanced career pathway opportunities for local women from rural Punjab before they move abroad.

What are "Global Skills"?

Some define global skills specifically as having to do with international, cultural or linguistic knowledge. While that may be true, global skills can mean so much more than that. When an individual spends time abroad and immerses his or herself into another culture, that person is not only learning the language and culture, but also about his or herself. One learns to adapt and be flexible in new situations. One learns that the best results come from listening and trying to understand before acting. One learns that communication goes beyond the spoken word. Perhaps the most useful lesson is that the new way to do something may not be better or worse, just different.
