On January 3, 2025, the Swami Vivekananda School and College of Nursing in Dharmapuri held a lamp lighting ceremony for the 17th batch of nursing students. This significant event was presided over by Managing Trustee Amma Vasantha Rani, who delivered the presidential address.
Key Highlights of the Ceremony:
• Felicitations: K. Vee. Nagarajan honored the gathering with his words.
• Lamp Lighting: Prof. Thangamani, the principal, performed the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and administered the Nightingale's pledge to the students.
• Significance Explained: Prof. Manimegalai, the vice principal, elaborated on the importance of the lamp lighting ceremony.
• Parental Participation: The event saw enthusiastic participation from parents, who blessed their daughters, future nursing professionals.
This ceremony symbolizes the commitment to nurturing competent and compassionate nursing professionals, aligning with the college's mission to provide quality education and training in nursing.

உலக சுகாதார தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு இன்று (13/04/2024) சுவாமி விவேகானந்தா செவிலியர் கல்லூரியில் கல்லூரி நிர்வாகம் சார்பாக, கல்லூரி நிர்வாக அறங் காவலர் அம்மா வசந்தராணி தலைமையில், கல்லூரி துணை முதல்வர் திருமதி மணிமேகலை அவர்கள் வரவேற்புரை வழங்க விழா இனிதே துவங்க பட்டது. இவ்விழாவில் பல்வேறு துறையினர், முறையே, ஆங்கில மருத்துவம் குறித்து மருத்துவர் சாந்தி பேராசிரியர், HOD Pathalogy Department. தர்மபுரி அரசு மருத்தவம
கல்லூரி, ஆயுர்வேதா குறித்து மருத்துவர் ஆயிஷா, ஆயிஷா ஆயுர் வேதிக் ஹாஸ்பிடல் தர்மபுரி, சித்த மருத்துவ குறிப்புகள் பற்றி மருத்துவர்கள் டாக்டர் சிவகுமார் மற்றும் அனுராதா ஆனந்த் ஹாஸ்பிடல் மற்றும் சித்தா ஆராய்ச்சி மையம், தர்மபுரி. இயற்கை மற்றும் யோகா மருத்துவம் குறித்து மருத்துவர். ரமேஷ்பாபு, துணை பேராசிரியர், இயற்கை மற்றும் யோகா, தர்மபுரி அரசு மருத்துவ கல்லூரி அவர்களும் விளக்கமளித்தனர். விழாவில் கல்லூரி முதல்வர் திருமதி தங்கமணி, பேராசிரியர்கள்,துணை பேராசிரியர்கள்.மற்றும் கல்லூரி மாணவிகள் கலந்து கொண்டு பயன் பெற்றனர். கல்லூரி துணை பேராசிரியர் ஜோதிலட்சுமி நன்றியுரை வழங்க விழா இனிதே முடிவுற்றது.

The " World Heart Day" theme for this year is "USE HEART KNOW HEART" it means a reminder call to everyone to take care of their heart. This Theme emphasizes the crucial process of prevention of heart disease.
