🪖📍About Armed Forces Flag Day📍🪖

In India, Armed Forces Flag Day is observed annually on 7 December to honour the Indian Armed Forces and to collect funds for the welfare of armed forces personnel, veterans, and their families.

The NSS Unit of Government Degree College, Kanchanpur (Tripura) has been involved in community activities, including fund-raising and awareness efforts, through its NSS volunteers.

On previous occasions, the NSS unit has participated in initiatives related to Armed Forces Day / Flag Day and community service, such as distribution of school supplies to students.

The NSS Unit of Government Degree College Kanchanpur, North Tripura organized a Road Safety Awareness Program on 15/12/2025 to promote safe and responsible road behavior.
The program aimed to create awareness among students and the public about traffic rules, road discipline, and accident prevention.
Volunteers actively participated in spreading the message of road safety through interaction and awareness activities.
The initiative highlighted the importance of wearing helmets, seat belts, and following traffic signals to save lives.

কাঞ্চনপুর সরকারি মহাবিদ্যালয়ের এন-এস-এস ইউনিটের স্বেচ্ছাসেবকদের এই উদ্যোগ সত্যিই প্রশংসনীয়। World AIDS Day উপলক্ষে ত্রিপুরা এইডস কন্ট্রোল সোসাইটি–র উদ্যোগে কাঞ্চনপুর সাব-ডিভিশন হাসপাতালের সামনে থেকে যে সচেতনতামূলক র‌্যালি অনুষ্ঠিত হয়, সেখানে এন-এস-এস ভলেন্টিয়ারদের সক্রিয় উপস্থিতি ছিল অত্যন্ত উল্লেখযোগ্য।

ভলেন্টিয়াররা শুধু র‌্যালিতে অংশগ্রহণই করেননি, বরং সমাজে এইডস সম্পর্কে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি, প্রতিরোধের বার্তা পৌঁছে দেওয়া, এবং মানুষের ভুল ধারণা দূর করতেও সাহায্য করেছেন। এই ধরনের কার্যক্রম নতুন প্রজন্মকে সামাজিক দায়িত্ববোধ শিখতে সাহায্য করে এবং একটি সুস্থ, সচেতন সমাজ গড়ে তুলতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে।

এন-এস-এস ইউনিটের এই সুন্দর উদ্যোগ আগামী দিনে আরও বেশি যুবসমাজকে অনুপ্রাণিত করবে—এটাই প্রত্যাশা।

আজকের মহাপ্রসাদের কীর্তন উপলক্ষে কাঞ্চনপুর সরকারি মহাবিদ্যালয়ের NSS ইউনিট আন্তরিকভাবে প্রসাদ বিতরণ কার্যক্রমে অংশগ্রহণ করে সামাজসেবার মহান আদর্শকে আরও এক ধাপ এগিয়ে নিল।

স্বেচ্ছাসেবীরা হাসিমুখে, শৃঙ্খলা বজায় রেখে ও পরম আন্তরিকতায় সকল ভক্তের হাতে প্রসাদ পৌঁছে দেন।
এমন সাংস্কৃতিক ও আধ্যাত্মিক অনুষ্ঠানে যুক্ত হতে পেরে NSS পরিবারের সকল সদস্য গর্বিত।

"Not Me, But You"— এই মন্ত্রকে সামনে রেখে আমাদের ইউনিট ভবিষ্যতেও সমাজসেবার বিভিন্ন কাজে সর্বদা এগিয়ে থাকবে।
