There is an overall erosion of values; old orders are fraying, giving way to more disintegrated and disharmonious life style. At both the global as well as the local level, we are yet to achieve peace, equal opportunity and non-violent reactions among all.

Sanvi J. Butia, a student of The H. M. Patel English Medium School, Dharmaj participated in the state level drawing competition 2019-20, organized by Art Teachers Association Gujarat, in which her drawing was selected as the "Best Drawing" at the state level. Drawing teachers Kailash madam and Parvati madam have also been awarded certificates by the state level for their outstanding performance in encouraging children to compete.

ધર્મજ કેળવણી મંડળ સંચાલિત પી. એલ. પટેલ સેકન્ડરી અને એમ. ડી. પટેલ (ઈપ્કોવાલા) હાયર સેકન્ડરી સ્કૂલ, ધર્મજનું ધો.૧૨ સામાન્ય (આર્ટસ/કોમર્સ) પ્રવાહનું ૧૦૦ ટકા પરિણામ જાહેર થયેલ છે. તારીખ ૧૫મી જૂન ૨૦૨૦ને સોમવારના રોજ જાહેર થયેળ પરિણામમાં આણંદ જિલ્લામાં પેટલાદ કેન્દ્રનું ૫૬.૪૬ ટકા પરિણામ આવેલ જેમાં ધર્મજ સ્કૂલનું ઉત્કૃષ્ટ પરિણામ આવેલ છે. જત જણાવવાનું કે આ વર્ષે ધોરણ ૧૨ સામાન્ય પ્રવાહનું ગુજરાત રાજ્યનું પરિણામ 76.૨૭% આવેલ છે જે પૈકી આણંદ જિલ્લાનું ૭૧.૩૯ ટકા પરિણામ આવેલ છે. વિશેષ હર્ષની વાત એ છે કે રાજ્યની તમામ શાળાઓ પૈકીની ૧૦૦ ટકા પરિણામ મેળવનારી કૂલ ૨૬૯ શાળાઓ પૈકી એક ધર્મજ ઈંગ્લિશ મીડિયમ સ્કૂલનો પણ સમાવેશ થાય છે.

A programme on “Traffic Awareness and Road Safety” organized at The H. M. Patel English Medium Schools’ Complex campus in association with Honda Motors Company

Dharmaj – Dt. 29 to 30/01/2020: With a view to pave the traffic discipline and feeling of safety right from the childhood, a two-day awareness programme was organized at Sports Playground of The H. M. Patel English Medium Schools’ Complex campus, Dharmaj in association with “Honda Motors” two-wheeler manufacturing company from 29th January 2020 to 30th January 2020 during school hours. The team from Honda Motors adopted both theoretical approach i.e. through Multimedia Presentation tools, Charts, Banners etc. and Practical approach i.e. through working miniature track and driving a geared toy bike, large size Snakes & Ladders Game of traffic awareness rules etc. The geared toy bike and the Snakes & Ladders game was the main attraction among the students. Students from STD 6th to STD 12th were the target audience for this programme. Many students both from girls and boys tried their hands on riding and toy bike and learnt valuable lessons from the expert team of the Honda Motors.

The students were imparted knowledge of various Road Signs, Importance of wearing Helmets and other safety gadgets, the meaning of road side slogans to alert the riders & drivers, Dos & Don’ts for road safety through Snakes & Ladders game to name a few. During this two-day event, the Honda Team organized various games, activities and competitions wherein the students were given gifts as well as participation certificates to retain the interest level of the students.

In appreciation of the opportunity given, the Honda Motors team under the leadership of Mr. Dilipkumar – The Section Manager, Outbound Safety Training (West Zone) and the school management exchanged memorabilia in the form of Shield of Safety Riding Activity (to the School) and Letter of Appreciation (to the Honda Motors Team). All the students who participated in this two-day event felt enriched and shown their commitment to follow the driving and road safety knowledge gathered from the event.
