༄༅།།ཕྱི་ལོ་ ༢༠༢༦ ཟླ་ ༤ ཚེས་ ༢༥ ནས་དྷ་ས་བཞུགས་སྒར་རིགས་ལམ་སློབ་གཉེར་ཁང་གི་སློབ་ཟུར། དགེ་བཤེས་མ་སྐལ་བཟང་དབང་མོ་ལགས་ནས། དཔལ་ལྡན་ཟླ་བའི་དབུ་མ་འཇུག་པ་གཞིར་བཅས་རྗེ་ཙོང་ཁ་བའི་དབུ་མ་དགོངས་པ་རབ་གསལ་གྱི་སློབ་སྐབས་གསུམ་པ་དེ་བཞིན་རིགས་ལམ་སློབ་གཉེར་ཁང་གི་གོ་སྒྲིག་འོག་རིགས་སློབ་འདུ་ཁང་ནང་དབྱིན་སྐད་ཐོག་སློབ་ཁྲིད་གནང་བཞིན་པའི་འདྲ་པར་འགའ། མཁྱེན་ལྡན་དྲྭ་གྲོགས་རྣམ་པའི་སྤྱན་ལམ་དུ་ཕུལ་བ་ལགས།།🙏🙏🙏

On April 25, 2026, Geshema Kalzang Wangmo, an alumna of the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics, began teaching the third session of Je Tsongkhapa’s Illumination of the Middle Way Thought (dBu ma dgongs pa rab gsal), based on Ācārya Candrakīrti’s Introduction to the Middle Way (Madhyamakāvatāra).

Under the arrangement of the Institute, the teachings are being conducted in English at the Institute’s prayer hall.

On April 30, 2026, during the graduation ceremony of the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics and its branch, the College for Higher Tibetan Studies, a number of students from the IBD Vietnamese online Buddhist studies class were awarded certificates by His Eminence Kundeling Tatsak Rinpoche.

On April 29, 2026, the students of the Vietnamese online Buddhist studies class of the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics offered tea and extensive offerings to the monks and nuns of the Institute. In return, the monastery monks and Nuns recited prayers and dedication verses for the pacification of all obstacles and adverse conditions facing the Vietnamese students, and for the successful fulfillment of all their aspirations, especially in their studies of the great Buddhist philosophical texts.
On this occasion, certificates of appreciation were also presented to the Philosophy teacher of the Vietnamese online class, Geshe Khamzang la, and to the translator, Venerable Van Thao la, in recognition of their dedicated service. Tokens of gratitude were likewise offered to the volunteer coordinators of the online study program.
During the event, the Vietnamese online students also presented a demonstration of Buddhist philosophical debate in the Vietnamese language to the teachers and students of the Institute. We are pleased to share these photographs with our dear Dharma friends online.🙏🙏🙏

On April 28, 2026, a group of students from the Vietnamese online Buddhist studies program of the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics (IBD) received guidance from the Director of the Institute, Geshe Samten Gyatso la; the philosophy teacher of the Institute, Geshe Khamzang la; and Ven. Van Thao la, the Vietnamese translator and a student of the non-sectarian Buddhist studies class at the Institute.
They offered teachings and guidance on the purpose and importance of studying Buddhist philosophy and inner science, as well as the dedication and challenges involved in accomplishing these aims. On this occasion, each student was also presented with a copy of the book Collected Essentials of Mind and Cognition, composed by the late and respected former Director of the Institute, Ven. Gen Lobsang Gyatso la, and translated into Vietnamese by Ven. Van Thao la.

We are delighted to share that the students of the 8th batch of the non-sectarian Geshe program at the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics, Dharamsala, have successfully completed 16–17 years of rigorous study. Their training included the major philosophical texts—Pramāṇa, Madhyamaka, Prajñāpāramitā, Abhidharma, and Vinaya—along with the teachings of the Nyingma, Kagyu, and Sakya traditions. They also dedicated two years to studying The Great Exposition of Ta**ra by Je Tsongkhapa.
Having completed their studies in 2025, they are receiving their graduation certificates in 2026.
On this special occasion, they were also blessed with the rare and precious opportunity to have an audience with 14th Dalai Lama.
