SRSPM GNDU College Niari

The staff and the students of SRSPM GURU NANAK DEV UNIVERSITY COLLEGE. NIARI (PATHANKOT) are highly obliged and thankful to Dr Himanshu Sharma for generously distributing woolen jerseys (hoodies) to the poor and the brilliant students of this college for beating the forth coming freezing winter. Dr Himanshu Sharma is appointed as a semester Examination Superintendent in SRSPM GURU NANAK DEV UNIVERSITY COLLEGE, Niari (Pathankot). Jerseys were distributed in a small function organized in the college in which he himself very kindly accepted the request to distribute the jerseys himself. All the staff members and first year students were present to witness the distribution. Students of this Dhar block are unlucky to have born here and are rendered unable to enjoy the amenities of the fastally moving world. I am to mention here that Dhar block is the most backward and poor block of district Pathankot. Guru Nanak Dev University is committed and is providing high quality education to students of this block.

Students of SRSPM GNDU College, Niari (Pathankot) are all set to clean the campus. It teaches the *Dignity of Labour* and prepare them to face any adverse situation in life. All the teachers set an example by participating in the activity.

Poster making competition is organized in SRSPM GNDU COLLEGE NIARI to comamorate the *350th SHAHIDE DIVAS SHREE GURU TEG BAHADUR JI, known as a HIND DI CHADER ( Savier of Hindu Dharma)* under the able guidence of Prof Rajni Sharma and supervision of Prof Pushpinder Kaur, Prof Poonam, Prof Meena, Prof Sucheta, Prof Priyanka and Mrs Renu Sharma

To comamorate the vigilance awareness among the students and the staff, “A Vigilance Aware Integrity Pledge” is organized in the SRSPM GND University College, NIARI, on 27/10/2025. All the staff members and the students participated. Prof Jivan Jyoti ADMINISTRATED the oath in panjabi and all the staff followed her. Following was the wording of the oath:-

SRSPM GND UNIVERSITY COLLGE , NIARI organized a
“DIYA and CARD MAKING COMPETITION” on the eve of DEWALI celebrations under the guidance of activities committee comprising of Prof Rajni Sharma (Incharge), Prof Ankita and Prof Poonam. All the teachers put their efforts to guide the students and conduct the event. Students prepared the decorated diyas & cards and posters. Best items were given the medals as per following details:-

In the end Principal Dr BS Manhas in his address apprised the students with the importance of the day and asked them to celebrate such events to keep the heritage culture and events alive . He thanked all the staff members for organizing such a beautiful event.

Beautifully organized TALENT HUNT FUNCTION for the preparation of participation in the Guru Nanak Dev University Youth Festival-2025 by the staff. All the committees have put their all efforts to make the event a grand. Congratulations to all the staff members particularly the members of College Activities Committee which coordinated with the other committees for the smooth conduct. Thanks to all the staff member for their cooperation. Congratulations to the selected students and great thanks to the participanting students as well. Audience which has shown the great participation also deserves a great applause.

An Independence Day is celebrated in the college today ie on Aug 15, 2025 in which tricolor is hoasted by the Principal of the college Dr Balbir Singh Manhas. Others present were Prof Rajni Sharma, Prof Ankita, Sh Ashok Kumar, Sh Raman Kumar, Sh Karan Singh, Sh Kewal Krishan, Sh Ashwani Kumar, Sh Swarn Singh, Smt Vidiya Devi and NCC cadets under the command of U O Rahul Nath. Sweets were distributed after the ceremony.

A poster making competition is organized in SRSPM Guru Nanak Dev Universe College, Niari(Pathankot) on August 14,2025 under the guidence of members of the ACTIVITIES TEAM of the college, in which students of all the classes participated. Result of the competition is yet to be declared.

Our cadets are participating in the Yoga on the eve of World Yoga Day. 7 Pb Bn NCC Gurdaspur had organized the event at SSGI Badhani under the administration of Lt Col D S Singh, an ex- Admn Officer of 7 Pb Bn NCC.

ਅੱਜ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਰਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਠਾਨੀਆ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਨਿਆੜੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਦੋ ਰੋਜਾ ਖੇਲ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਯੋਗਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਪਨ ਹੋਇਆ। ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਖੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ ਖੇਡ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਿਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸਯਂਮ ਅਗਰਵਾਲ, ਡਾਰੈਕਟਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਉਚੇਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ , (ਡੀ ਪੀ ਆਈ, ਕਲਜਾਂ, ਪੰਜਾਬ) ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ । ਸਰਦਾਰ ਆਰ ਪੀ ਐਸ ਵਾਲੀਆ, ਮੈਨੇਜਿੰਗ ਟਰਸਟੀ, ਜਾਗਰਤੀ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਚੈਰੀਟੇਬਲ ਟਰਸਟ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸੰਨੀ ਮਹਾਜਨ ਡਾਰੈਕਟਰ, ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਵਰਡ ਸਕੂਲ ਪਠਾਨਕੋਟ ਅਤੇ ਟਰਸਟੀ ਜਾਗਰਤੀ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਚੈਰੀਟੇਬਲ ਟਰਸਟ, ਗੈਸਟ ਆਫ ਆਨਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਏ। ਇਸ ਕਲਜ ਨੂੰ ਆਰੰਭਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਰਾਜਪੂਤ ਸਭਾ ਵਲੋਂ ਕਰਨਲ ਸਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਸੁਮਨ ਕਲਿਆਨ ਵੀ ਖਾਸ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ। ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਐਨ ਸੀ ਸੀ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਨੇ ਮਾਰਚ ਪਾਸਟ ਅਤੇ ਸਲਾਮੀ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਦੋ ਰੋਜਾ ਖੇਡ ਮੇਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੜਕਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਲੌਂਗ ਜੰਪ, ਸ਼ੋਟ ਪੁੱਟ, 100 ਮੀਟਰ ਦੌੜ, 200 ਮੀਟਰ ਦੌੜ, 400 ਮੀਟਰ ਦੌੜ, ਵਾਲੀਬਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਟੱਗ ਆਫ ਵਾਰ ਨਾਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੇਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ।
ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਗੇਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਮੁੰਡਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਬੀਸੀਏ ਦੇ ਅਨਮੋਲ ਪਠਾਣੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੀਏ ਦੀ ਨੀਕੀਤਾ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਓਵਰਆਲ ਬੈਸਟ ਐਥਲੀਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਨਿਵਾਜੇ ਗਏ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਐਨ ਸੀ ਸੀ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਦੇ ਮਾਰਚ ਪਾਸਟ ਦੇ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਈਜ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਨਿਵਾਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ।
ਖੇਡ ਮੇਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ ਹੋਏ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸੰਯਮ ਅਗਰਵਾਲ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਉਚੇਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ। ਇਥੇ ਇਹ ਦਸਣਾ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਇਲਾਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪਰੱਤੀਵਧਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਲਦੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਕੋਲ ਕੋਈ ਖੇਡ ਦਾ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਨਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਣ ਖੇਲ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਿਆ । ਪਿਛਲੇ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਣ ਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਰੋਹ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ।
ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਬਲਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਨਹਾਸ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਟਾਫ ਨਾਲ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਚਿੰਨ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਮੈਡਮ ਯਸ਼ੋਦਾ ਜਸਰੋਟੀਆ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ,ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਉਮੇਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਨਿਆੜੀ ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਪੰਚਾਇਤ ਦੇ ਸਰਪੰਚ ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਸਵਾਰਦੀਨ , ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਸੈਕੰਡਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੁਨੇਰਾ ਨੇਖਾਸ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਡਾ• ਮਨਹਾਸ ਨੇ ਕੁਸ਼ਲ ਮੰਚ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਮੈਡਮ ਪੁਸ਼ਪਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਡਮ ਰਜਨੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਸਹਿਤ ਪੂਰੇ ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਨ ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਸਟਾਫ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਲਗਾਈਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਡਿਊਟੀਆਂ ਨਿਭਾ ਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਖੇਡ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪੁਰਜੋਰ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ l
