I had the opportunity to participate in the Stakeholder Consultation Workshop on Ecosystem Services under the RECAP4NDC Project for the Banaskantha model site, held in Palanpur.
🌿 The workshop offered valuable insights into Forest Landscape Restoration (FLR), ecosystem services, and collaborative approaches for sustainable landscape management. It served as an excellent platform where government officials, Forest Department representatives, NGOs, local communities, and other stakeholders came together to exchange ideas, identify key challenges, and explore solutions for ecosystem restoration.
🙏 A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Rajendra Bisht, Shwetal Shah, and Ronak Gadhavi for their excellent guidance and facilitation throughout the sessions. Special appreciation to Dr. Mukesh Mali (Assistant Conservator of Forests, Banaskantha), the dedicated Forest Department team, villagers, and fellow NGO representatives for their valuable contributions and meaningful discussions.
🤝 As a representative of Edufun Foundation Trust, I was honored to share our experiences and contribute to discussions on strengthening ecosystem restoration through community participation.
🌱 Looking forward to transforming these valuable learnings into impactful on-ground initiatives for ecological restoration, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable development.
💚 Together, through collaboration and community participation, we can build healthier ecosystems and a greener future.
