Odd-even phase-I implemented in January 2016 was more effective than phase-II in April in curbing Delhi's pollution, said an analysis by TERI. In the 2nd phase, there was a 17% decrease in car numbers & 13% increase in vehicle speed. In contrast, the first phase saw a 21% reduction in cars & 18% increase in speed, the analysis said.
