SCHOOL IS NOT A BACBREAKING EXERCISE○}

Heavy school bags are a serious threat to the health and well -being of growing children.They can have a severe, adverse physical effect causing damage to their vertebral column and knees.

STEPS TAKEN IN DHANBAD VIKAS VIDYALAYA to reduce school bag pressure.

1. Homework is minimal for kids. classroom activities is done in effective manner to teach lesson among kids so that there are no extra books to be carried around.
2. Children are advised to do yoga at home.

3. Non-academic activities like Reading , Games &Sports ,Art and culture and other creative , Co-curricular activities for holistic development of the children.
4. Recreation and physical activity is a must for a growing children and of -course it is the right of the children.

FOR PARENTS - Teach your child to carry a school bag safely.
1.Put the heaviest items in the back pack close to the back.
2. Make the child wear the bag on the back with the straps on both shoulder.
3. Make packing bag a daily exercise and check their bag so that they carry only what is needed.
