Geological Society IIT ISM GSI is a student-run society of Department of Applied Geology, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad.

It is envisioned to provide a platform to Geology students of the department to engage, discover and express themselves through variety of academic and sporting events.

Important Update :
A. For "PICTURE -PATCH" there'll be no particular theme. Previous theme has now been removed. We've made it flexible to post photograph from any niche, with a suitable caption. Submission time has been extended till 29th March, 8 PM.

B. For GEOPHILE (poster presentation) we're going digital. Participants will have to make their posters in a single PowerPoint slide. Each presentation should be completed within 5 minutes of time. Size of the slide shoud be A3 only.

C. Abstract submission is not necessary for GEOPHILE. Registration will fix your slot for presentation.

Greetings!!!
Geological Society of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, a legacy started by the Department of Applied Geology, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, is back with its annual edition - Flysch '22.
The event is envisioned to provide a platform for the young minds to engage, explore & express. It aims at bringing forth adequate opportunity for students to interact and participate, bridging gap between classroom education and hands-on training.
Beginning with a Freshers' Party to welcome our newly admitted students, followed by the exhilarating events of Geothon, Amphi-बोल, Geophile, Picture-Patch, Rock Your Fate, Sportify, En Plein Air and concluding with the nail biting sports finale, Flysch '22 is all set for a perfect meet of cultural, academia and sports tournaments.
We, the Team of Flysch '22, take immense pleasure in inviting you all to the Geosymposium of IIT (ISM), Dhanbad. Let us all assemble in this vibrant event and occasion to cherish this interaction that will fill us with enthusiasm, energy and happiness for the days to come.
