A school run by AR. Somasundaram Trust catering to the students of Devakottai , mostly from a background where the children are from economically backward strata with parents not able to give any learning support.

The school is about to close for the year. The admissions are on. As it being a school where the medium is Tamil many prefer to join schools with English as the medium of instructions,
The strength has to improve considerably. Steps are being taken to bring in more students. Those in and around Devakottai could help us in our efforts to increase the strength.
Hope our request would fall on the ears of those who like the school.
Also, we wish to get suggestions from you regarding the ways to improve the standard
to international level.
The school, as you know, is government aided one caters mostly to the students who come from a background of no great financial capacity nor of a valid literacy level.
Help us to take the school to great heights in the coming year.

The School is going smooth. As one in the management of the school I find there are too many reports in Papers and Magazines which are not to my liking.
They look like advertisements. Such activities are good to a certain extent. The Headmaster of the school has to stop indulging in putting up each and every event in papers and magazines. Instead he has to concentrate on making the school an example of good teaching and a model for strict discipline. He should strengthen the school not by seeing reports on newspapers but work sincerely towards upgrading the school to a level where every parent in and around no matter whatever be his financial status wish to admit his son or daughter in the school.
A demand must be created. Instead of the teachers canvassing to get more students the parents should rush to secure admission
Hope the headmaster and his team work for such an end.

As such, I find that the Municipality is not keen in providing land to the school. The intention of the management is to develop the existing one to high school. The school is aided by the government.
Land and building belongs to AR. Somasundaram's trust.The school needs a bigger land to host the high school. Like-minded people could offer help to acquire land in and around Sivan koil.
Hope to receive suggestions by people who have posted likes.

I appreciate those who have posted likes and I expect much more from them to improve the school and to increase the strength.
