At LMTSM, we believe the campus itself is a classroom and sometimes, the best learning happens outside the four walls of one.
Thatโs the idea behind Open Bench: a space where students can sit together, speak freely, and share whatโs really on their minds no hierarchy, no agenda, just honest conversation.
Our first session brought together first and second-year students, along with our Director Sir as the speaker. It opened with an ice-breaking activity that got students across batches talking, connecting, and introducing one another. From there, the conversation moved to a question that many quietly carry โ๐ช๐ต๐ฎ๐โ๐ ๐ต๐ผ๐น๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐ถ๐ป ๐น๐ถ๐ณ๐ฒ?โ
Sir shared candid life lessons drawn from his own journey, and students opened up in return sharing their own struggles, experiences, and takeaways with their peers. What followed was a genuinely interactive session on confidence, leadership, and personal growth built entirely on students being free to just say what they feel.
This is what Open Bench stands for: a campus where every voice has a seat.
