"Dont put stone in other house when your house is made of glass"..
Sikkim CM should better focus on internal politics..How democratic our state is,how accountable our govt is.
| Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang has condemned the protest of LoP Rahul Gandhi in the premises of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence in New Delhi on Tuesday (July 21, 2026).
"Democracy thrives on responsible debate, not on political theatrics. Shri Rahul Gandhi’s protest at the doorstep of the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s official residence, one of the country’s most sensitive and high security zones, is deeply irresponsible and condemnable," shared CM Tamang in X (Formerly Twitter).
"At a time when the nation expects constructive engagement, such acts undermine the dignity of our democratic institutions and disregard the security protocols of a highly protected location. Differences of opinion must be expressed through constitutional and parliamentary forums, not through unnecessary confrontation," he shared.
"India’s democracy is strong because its institutions are strong. Let us uphold their sanctity with responsibility, restraint, and respect," he added.
