80th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION – A GRAND SALUTE TO THE SPIRIT OF INDIA at DAV Bhandarkola.

With hearts filled with pride and the campus echoing with the spirit of “Vande Mataram” and “Jai Hind,” Geeta Devi DAV Public School, Bhandarkola, Deoghar celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with immense enthusiasm, dignity and patriotic fervour.

The celebration was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Santosh Kumar Tulsiyan along with our distinguished guests, Shri Pramod Bajla, Shri Tarachand Jain and Shri Abhishek Tulsiyan. Their gracious presence added immense significance and warmth to this memorable occasion.

The programme began with the traditional welcome of the dignitaries followed by the solemn Flag Hoisting Ceremony filling every heart with pride and reverence for our beloved nation. The disciplined and impressive NCC and Student's Council March Past further reflected the values of courage, unity, discipline and service to the nation.

Our Chief Guest, Shri Santosh Kumar Tulsyan inspired the gathering with his gracious presence and encouraging words. He appreciated the efforts of the school, teachers and students in presenting such a vibrant and meaningful celebration of India's Independence.

The school campus came alive with a spectacular series of patriotic cultural performances presented by our talented students. Soul-stirring patriotic songs, energetic dances, inspiring dramatic presentations and creative artistic performances beautifully portrayed India’s freedom struggle, the sacrifices of our great freedom fighters, the valour of our armed forces, the richness of our diverse culture and the dream of a strong and united India.
The occasion was made even more meaningful by the inspiring address of our honourable Principal, Md Mustafa Majid who encouraged the students to understand that true patriotism goes beyond celebration and lies in being responsible,disciplined, compassionate and committed citizens.

HAR GHAR TIRANGA – A RALLY OF PATRIOTISM & PRIDE by students of DAV Bhandarkola.

With the Tricolour held high and patriotism in their hearts, the enthusiastic students of Classes VI & VII of Geeta Devi DAV Public School, Bhandarkola, Deoghar participated in a spirited Har Ghar Tiranga Rally carrying forward the message of “One Nation, One Flag, One Pride.”

Under the visionary leadership and inspiring guidance of our Principal, Md Mustafa Majid, the rally proceeded from Devsang back to the school, transforming the route into a vibrant display of national pride. Students marched enthusiastically with the Tiranga in their hands, accompanied by the school banner prominently highlighting the noble motto of Har Ghar Tiranga.

The air echoed with powerful patriotic naaras and slogans as students proudly displayed placards carrying messages of unity, freedom, national integrity and respect for our Tricolour. Their energetic voices and disciplined march encouraged everyone along the route to honour the National Flag and embrace the spirit of patriotism.

The rally was not merely a procession,it was a meaningful endeavour to instil in young minds a deep sense of responsibility, unity and devotion towards the nation while spreading the message that the Tiranga is the pride and identity of every Indian.

Today, our EEDP students from LKG to Class 2 embarked on an exciting educational field trip to learn about the “Means of Transport.” 🌍✨

As a part of their learning about Airways, the students were taken by the school to see a helicopter up close. 🚁 This wonderful experience helped our young learners understand the concept of air transport through real-life observation and hands-on learning.

At G.D. DAV Public School, Bhandarkola, Deoghar, we nurture learning not only inside the school campus but also beyond it. Through educational visits and excursions, our young learners explore, experience and understand concepts practically. 📚🌱

Be it managing the line, offering water, providing medical aid, or cleaning the path — every act of service is worship. Because every helping hand is blessed by Baba.

Serving with Devotion: DAV Bhandarkola family Extends Kawaria Sewa today near Khijuria gate, Deoghar.

In the sacred spirit of Shravani Mela and Kawaria Yatra, the DAV Parivar of G.D. DAV Public School, Bhandarkola, Deoghar came forward with devotion and a deep sense of social responsibility to offer Kawaria Sewa near Khijuria gate, Deoghar.

The initiative witnessed the enthusiastic participation of the Principal, teachers and staff members who wholeheartedly served the Kawarias and devotees by distributing fresh fruits, bananas and drinking-water bottles. With warmth, respect and a true spirit of sewa, the DAV family made a humble contribution towards supporting the pilgrims undertaking their sacred journey to offer holy water to Baba Baidyanath.

The programme was successfully carried out under the visionary guidance and inspiring leadership of Principal Md Mustafa Majid, whose constant encouragement motivates the school community to go beyond academics and actively contribute towards society.

Such initiatives beautifully uphold the values and ethos of DAV, where education is not confined to classrooms but extends to building responsible, compassionate and socially conscious individuals. By participating in this great festival of faith and devotion, the DAV family experienced the joy of serving humanity while becoming a part of the spiritual atmosphere that makes the holy month of Shravan so special in Deoghar.

Quit India Movement Day Observed at G.D. DAV Public School, Bhandarkola, Deoghar (JH)

A special assembly was organised in our deemed institution on the occasion of Quit India Movement Day. The programme aimed to acquaint students with the historic struggle for India’s freedom and the sacrifices made by our great freedom fighters.

The students brought history to life through their impressive performances, portraying various characters from the freedom struggle, including Common citizens, Mahatma Gandhi, Police personnel, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Rani Lakshmibai and other prominent personalities.

Through their acts and role-plays, the students beautifully recreated the atmosphere and events of that era, giving everyone a glimpse into the challenges faced by the people during the freedom movement.

The presentation was not only informative and engaging but also instilled a sense of patriotism, courage and respect for the sacrifices of our freedom fighters among the students
