ESSENTIAL Japanese Adjectives
Always Try to Learn in pairs = 2x faster memory!
For example
きれい kirei=Clean → きたない (kitanai = Dirty)
あついatsui=Hot ← つめたい (tsumetai = Cold)
ふかいfukai=Deep あさい (asai = Shallow)
ちかい chikai= Near ← とおい (toi=Far)
いそがしい isogashil= Busy → ひま (hima = Free/ Idle)
Student Skill Tip: Use BOTH in 1 sentence to practice contrast.
Example：このコーヒーはあついです。でもこのジュースはつめたいです
= This coffee is hot. But this juice is cold.
