Ambedkar Jayanti Celebration
DTEA Senior Secondary School, R.K. Puram, celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti with great respect and enthusiasm, paying tribute to B. R. Ambedkar. Students participated actively through speeches and presentations, reflecting on his life, values, and contributions towards equality, justice, and education.

World Health Day Celebration at DTEA R.K. Puram
On April 7, World Health Day was celebrated at DTEA Senior Secondary School, R.K. Puram, with great enthusiasm under the theme “Let’s unite for well-being – supported by science.” The programme aimed to create awareness among students about health and hygiene. Municipal Corporation official Mr. Yogesh addressed the students, explaining the causes, symptoms, prevention, and control of mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue, malaria, and chikungunya. He also stressed the importance of maintaining cleanliness, avoiding water stagnation, and using protective measures like mosquito nets. The school emphasized adopting healthy habits and ensuring a clean environment. DTEA Secretary Shri Raju Ramaswamy highlighted that such initiatives help students understand global health challenges and encourage them to lead a healthy lifestyle.

We were honoured to have our esteemed Secretary, Shri Raju Ramaswamy , as the Chief Guest, who graced the event with his inspiring presence. In his address, he motivated the graduating students to move forward with confidence, reminding them that this milestone marks not an end, but the beginning of a new journey. He emphasized the values of hard work, discipline, and perseverance in achieving success.
The highlight of the event was watching our young graduates receive their certificates in their graduation attire – a moment of pride for students, parents, and teachers alike. 🎉
