In long run, success is only achieved with consistency.
My students often tell me that they practice for hours on weekends but don't even touch their guitar on rest of the days. And yes they do improve but that is not sustainable.
You have to be consistent in your practice, be it in any field.
As we all know one who never stops, is the one who never fails.
Teaching is fun when the students are dedicated
