6 teams of 35 students from Amity Saket have been shortlisted for the Nationals of F1 in schools. An orientation session was organised for them where
Mr Tarun Bansal, Head of Marketing and Technical, Amity Group of Schools briefed them, gave a breakdown of the competition and discussed various aspects of the competition. He shared winning strategies giving few examples. It was a very informative session.

Environmental Awareness Campaigns were taken up by children in school, highlighting the importance of going green. By encouraging young minds to reflect on the impact of their actions these aimed to nurture a generation of environmentally conscious individuals committed to making a positive difference in the world.
Class III - Live Green, Think Green : poster making and Nukkad Natak.
Class IX - Mapping weather associated disasters on the world map.
Class X - Urban heat island infograph and slogan writing.

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Nobel Laureate Shri Rabindranath Tagore, schools debating society 'Agitur Societas' conducted its first workshop on Turncoat Debating. Students understood the nuances of this format of debate. It was an interactive and enjoyable session.

Blue is the color of the sky and sea. Blue symbolises wisdom, confidence, intelligence and truth. Blue day was organised in school today for our Nursery children. They were engaged in multiple fun activities like stringing blue beads, creating blue mural art walls on newspapers and also making blue paper looking glasses and had fun exploring things with it. Children wore attires in different hues of blue, carried blue objects to school and displayed the same with great enthusiasm. It was a delightful blue day 🌀💎

The wide use of internet and the increasing case of cyber fraud is a reality in today's world. It is important to sensitise everyone about cyber etiquettes and cyber security.
Cyber security is important to reduce the risk of cyber attack.
It functions to protect the devices we all use and prevent unauthorised access to the vast amounts of personal information we store on these devices, and online.
Dr Raksh*t Tandon, a Cyber Security expert in India, conducted a cyber security workshop and an interactive session for students of classes IX to XII, where he informed students how to keep themselves safe.
It was an eye opener to hear him speak about the risk everyone puts themselves into by not taking proper safety measures to prevent cyber fraud.

Under the visionary leadership of Dr Amita Chauhan, Chairperson Amity Group of Schools, with guidance from Ms Jyoti Arora , Director AERC and principal Ms Divya Bhatia, Amity International School Saket inaugurated two programs - Amity Debate Society (Agitur Societus) and Amity Chhatra Sansad on the momentous occasion Prerna Diwas. The inauguration was witnessed by distinguished guests and our alumni advisors- Mr. Ashish Magoo, Ms. Ria Chopra and Mr. Vansh Saluja.

A Show and Tell on ' Endangered Species ' was conducted for Class 1 where our young participants with their beautiful presentation, confidently showcased the urgency of addressing the wildlife crisis and emphasized the importance of conservation efforts.

An enjoyable way to learn is by going out for excursions. Children form bonds, share lunch, play games and in the process learn valuable lessons of sharing and caring.

Zero Waste Lunch -
Emphasizing the mantra of 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, the students adopted a Zero Waste Lunch approach, learning the value of minimizing plastic use and embracing sustainable practices like recycling and composting. It was a delight to watch them enjoy their yummy snacks from their non- plastic containers and use cloth napkins for keeping themselves clean. These little endeavors create awareness in our children to actively safeguard our precious planet - 'Earth.'

Under the guidance of Dr Amita Chauhan, Chairperson Amity Group of Schools, Amity Children Science Foundation in association with IAPT, RC1 organised the 12th Prof Ved Ratna Memorial Lecture on April 25, 2024. Prof Rangan Banerjee, Director of IIT Delhi addressed the students with focus on "Energy, Exergy and Sustainability". This was followed by hands-on activities led by Ms. Anuradha Mathur.
It was an engaging, informative and enjoyable session.
Students from class X Tvesha Tanwar, Narottam Siddharth, Neev Sanyal, Eesh Saini and Parth Jain along with Mr. Harish Manish and Dr. Richa Pandey attended the session.

Two teams from Amity Saket participated in the F1 Regionals held at Suncity School Gurugram. They had a great racing experience which they enjoyed thoroughly.

Our tiny tots from Nursery are delighted to share the exciting activities that they participated in to celebrate Earth Day- Prerna Diwas”. It was a week filled with fun, learning, and a deep appreciation for our planet. This activity-based approach helped foster a deep understanding of the environment. All our kids enjoyed the hands-on experience.

Earth Day Activities - KG Class

Day 1- Cleanliness Drive
Children went to the school garden and collected dry waste.
Day 2- Making Earth Green
Children pasted of blue and green paper on an earth cutout to symbolise the importance of greenery on Mother Earth
Day 3- Making a green salad
Children made a healthy green salad by mixing different fruits and vegetable and eating it.
Day 4- Story Narration
Teachers narrated stories and children sang rhymes using props on the theme save earth.
Day 5- Making of a headgear followed by green march
Children coloured an earth cutout and made a headgear, they proceeded on a green march saying different slogans to save earth.
These activities in a fun, playful way inculcated in the children a better understanding of the environment and how to protect it, thereby making them aware of the necessity of going green!!!

"Dress Up as Your Favorite Book Character" is an effective and enjoyable way to promote literacy, creativity, and community spirit among children. Students of class 3 happily dressed up and transformed into their favourite characters which took them into the fantasy world of books. It transforms reading from a solitary activity into a shared experience that fosters a lifelong love of books.

The limits of my language are the limits of my world - So let's expand our vocabulary and open up new horizons!"
Keeping this in mind Amity International School Saket organised the Vocabathon - Battle of Wits'2 for class 5.
The vocabathon is a marathon, not a sprint! Pace yourself, stay focused, and remember that every word learnt is a victory in itself. Keep going!!!

Students of Class 1 enthusiastically participated in an activity on germination.They sowed seeds in pots and will now observe them regularly to understand how tiny saplings will sprout and grow into beautiful plants.

Composting is the natural process of recycling organic matter, such as leaves and food scraps, into a valuable fertilizer that can enrich soil and plants. Composting provides a range of environmental benefits, including improving soil health, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, recycling nutrients, and mitigating the impact of droughts. By making our own compost, we can play a part in creating a more sustainable and Eco-friendly world.
To sensitise our students, composting activity was done with students of class 2. They got kitchen waste from their homes and added layers to the compost pit. It was an enriching experience for the children and will go a long way to enhance their responsibility towards Mother Earth.

Vocabathon - Battle of Wits'24
Students of class 1 delightfully showcased their language skills and vocabulary prowess. The event enhanced students' linguistic abilities in a fun filled environment.

The enthusiastic participation and skillful performance by students in word recognition, spelling, unjumbling words, rapid fire round, quizzes and story guessing were praiseworthy. The event also encouraged teamwork, critical thinking and quick decision-making skills amongst the students.

Kudos to the participants for their active involvement and commendable efforts in making Vocabathon a memorable and enriching experience for all.
