DTEA Senior Secondary School, Mandir Marg celebrated Mother’s Day with great enthusiasm on 8th May 2026. The programme was organised to honour mothers and appreciate their love and sacrifices. Students presented beautiful dance performances, heartfelt speeches, and a meaningful skit highlighting the importance of mothers in our lives. The respected Principal also addressed the gathering and spoke about the role of mothers in shaping children’s future. A special performance by the mothers of primary students added joy and excitement to the celebration. The event created a warm and cheerful atmosphere and left everyone with beautiful memories and deep respect for mothers.

The birthday of Bharathidasan was celebrated on 29 April 2026 (Wednesday) at DTEA Senior Secondary School, Mandir Marg with great enthusiasm. The programme began with a speech by Srina of Class 10 on his life history. Nayana Preeti of Class 9 and Akhilesh of Class 10 beautifully recited his kavithai. The Principal and teachers also delivered inspiring speeches, highlighting his literary contributions and motivating students.

World Malaria Day was observed at DTEA Senior Secondary School, Mandir Marg, with a focus on awareness and prevention. The programme included an informative speech highlighting causes, symptoms, and preventive measures against malaria. Students actively participated and learned the importance of cleanliness and mosquito control. The event aimed to spread awareness and encourage responsible actions to combat malaria in the community, promoting a healthier and safer environment for all.
