NEP Orientation & Sensitization Programme (Online), 21 - 30 October 2026 | 14.00 to 17.15 hrs.

The UGC – Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC), National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), New Delhi, proudly announces the Online NEP Orientation & Sensitization Programme, 21-30 October 2026 | 14.00 to 17.15 hrs for the faculty members of college and university (including Research Scholars, Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors).

This programme is designed to provide in-depth insights into the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and foster professional capacity building for educators and administrators in higher education.

All interested participants are invited to register and join this online program.

There is no registration fee.

The UGC – Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC), National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), New Delhi, proudly announces the Faculty Induction Programme (Hybrid/Online Mode), from 16 November- 14 December, 2026 | 10.00 to 17.15 hrs. for the Faculty members of college and university (including Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors).

This Course is designed to provide in-depth insights into the Higher Education and its Ecosystem ; Curriculum designing, Outcome based learning and Choice based credit system; Teaching, Learning and Assessment ; Technology for Teaching and assessment of I-generation ; Personal-Emotional Development and Counselling ; Research, Professional Development and Academic Leadership ; Academic Integrity ; Constitutional Values, Human Rights & Fundamental Duties ; Environmental Consciousness and Sustainable Development Goals ; Strategic Planning and Management. and foster professional capacity building for educators and administrators in higher education.

🌟 A Successful Commencement! 🌟

We are delighted to share the successful inauguration of the Online NEP Orientation & Sensitization Programme scheduled for 21-29 September 2026 | 14.00 to 17.15 hrs organized by the UGC-Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC), NIEPA, New Delhi in collaboration with the Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi.

The inaugural session, held on 21 September 2026, marked an inspiring beginning to this significant academic initiative under the visionary leadership of Prof. Shashikala Wanjari, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, NIEPA, New Delhi. The programme commenced with her inspiring message, setting the tone for a meaningful and enriching learning journey. Prof. (Dr.) Pavitra Bhardwaj, Principal, Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi, represented the collaborating institution and underscored the significance of the partnership between NIEPA and Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi in promoting professional learning and strengthening teacher education.

The session featured insightful addresses by Prof. Amit Gautam, Director, MMTTC, NIEPA, followed by the introduction of the programme coordinators. Prof. Manisha Priyam, Programme Batch Director, provided an overview of the 08-day programme, highlighting its interactive learning approach, the importance of teacher training in achieving the objectives of NEP 2020, and its relevance to the Career Advancement Scheme (CAS).

The programme is being conducted under the guidance of Prof. Amit Gautam, Director, MMTTC, NIEPA; Dr. Shankar Paripally, Deputy Director, MMTTC, NIEPA; and Prof. Manisha Priyam, Programme Batch Director. The programme is being efficiently coordinated by Dr. Garima Malik and Dr. KK Roul as Programme Batch Coordinators.

This Online NEP Orientation & Sensitization Programme, 21-29 September 2026 has attracted enthusiastic participation from 162 faculty members/Research Scholars representing diverse universities, colleges, and higher education institutions from across the country.

We’re thrilled to share the successful conclusion of the online NEP Orientation and Sensitisation Programme (29 August-08 September 2026), which wrapped up with a memorable Valedictory Session on 8th September 2026 organized by UGC–MMTTC, NIEPA, New Delhi in collaboration with the Department of Education, Vinaya Bhavana, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan. The Programme concluded under the aegis of Prof. Shashikala Wanjari, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, NIEPA, New Delhi and Dr. Probir Kumar Ghosh, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan. The programme was conducted under the leadership of Prof. Amit Gautam, Director, MMTTC, NIEPA, and Dr. Shankar Paripally, Deputy Director, MMTTC, NIEPA. It was efficiently coordinated by Prof. Rasmita Das Swain as Programme Batch Director, along with Dr. Dharma Raksh*t Gautam and Dr. Sarita Anand as Programme Batch Coordinators.
