π How Do Websites Work? π€ (Explained Simply)
Every time you open a website, a lot of things happen in the background. Letβs break it down step by step π
π’ Step 1: You type a URL
π Example: www.google.com
π΅ Step 2: Request goes to the server
π Your browser sends a request to Googleβs server.
π‘ Step 3: Server does the work
π The Backend checks what you asked for (like search results).
π It fetches data from the Database.
π£ Step 4: Response is sent back
π Server sends the result back to your browser.
π΄ Step 5: You see the website
π Browser shows you the Frontend (text, images, buttons, etc).
π‘ In short:
Browser (Frontend) = Sends request, shows result
Server (Backend) = Handles logic, fetches data
Database = Stores information
π₯ Example:
When you Login to Instagram β
Browser sends your username & password
Backend checks if details are correct
Database verifies user info
If correct β You get access to your profile

β‘ Frontend vs Backend: Whatβs the Difference? π€
When we talk about Web Development, there are always TWO sides:
π’ Frontend (Client-Side)
π Everything the user sees in their browser or mobile app.
Examples:
Buttons, Images, Forms, Text
UI/UX Design
Styling with CSS
Common Tools/Languages:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Frameworks: React, Angular, Vue
π΅ Backend (Server-Side)
π Everything that works behind the scenes to make the app function.
Examples:
User Authentication (Login/Signup)
Storing Data in Database
Business Logic & APIs
Common Tools/Languages:
Node.js, Python, Java, PHP
Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
π‘ Simple Example:
When you order food online π
Frontend β The app where you select food, add to cart, and press βOrderβ
Backend β The system that checks payment, updates order in database, and notifies the restaurant
π₯ In short:
π Frontend = Look & Feel (User Experience)
π Backend = Brain of the Application (Logic + Data)

π What is Backend Development? π€ (Explained Simply)
Whenever you use a website or an app, there are two main parts:
β
Frontend (What you see) β Buttons, Images, Text, Forms
β
Backend (What you donβt see) β Stores data, Runs logic, Handles security
π Simple Example:
When you Login β You enter your email & password on the frontend
The backend checks:
Is the password correct?
If yes β Show the dashboard
If no β Send an error message
