Can your child read Cupid correctly? ❤️

The secret isn't memorizing the word—it's understanding syllables!

Today we're breaking Cupid into: ✨ Cu + pid

🔹 First syllable: Cu (Open Syllable) The vowel is at the end, so it says its name → /kyoo/

🔹 Second syllable: pid (Closed Syllable) The vowel is closed in by a consonant, so it says its short sound → /i/

Put them together: ❤️ Cu + pid = Cupid ❤️
