GLOBAL TECH LAYOFFS: Correction or Crisis? 🤔
The tech sector is undergoing a massive shake-up, amplified by two major factors: the macroeconomic shock of interest rate hikes and a permanent structural shift driven by the exponential rise of Generative AI.
During the pandemic, firms overhired, and now, they’re pivoting to efficiency by cutting staff to fund massive AI adoption. This move has profound ripple effects, from a “pay reset” in the labor market to significant risk in Commercial Real Estate (CRE).
The path forward is clear: Upskilling is crucial. The demand is shifting toward high-skill, niche roles. AI Literacy is the new baseline.
