Earth watch week
Presentation Convent Sr. Sec. School observed the Earth Watch Week to demonstrate it's support to the planet Earth and the environment amid a lot of aplomb and enthusiasm from 18th - 22nd April, 2022. The weeklong celebrations were undertaken with an array of activities ranging from Hand Printing to Photo Documentary. During the week, students prepared street play generating sensitization towards our benign nature, wrote awareness raising songs, presented Earth Reels on community issues related to Earth, prepared collage highlighting the importance of Sustainable Development Goals.
All the events and activities rekindled emotive concerns and instigated the students and teachers alike to save, love and respect the mother earth with all their heart.

Teacher’s wellness programme
The school management organized a wellness session titled "Together Towards Tomorrow"
for the teaching staff on 28 March 2022 in the school premises. The goal was to help teachers
destress from the duties dispensed during previous academic session and start the upcoming
session with fresh energy.

The school hosted an Inter- class dance competition for classes I - V on and 11 May, 2022 in the school hall. Each class was given a different theme. The judges for the occasion were Ms. Supriya Banerjee, working as a diligent librarian in our school who has judged many dance competitions, Ms. Ananya Yadav and Ms.Ravleen Kaur who have keen interest in dance.
The participants performed enthusiastically and left the audience awestruck by their vibrant performance. The program was concluded by a motivational speech by the chief guest and she congratulated the participants, teachers and the school management for their stupendous effort and making this event a success.

Nano nagle debate
Presentation Convent Sr Sec School, Delhi-6 hosted the 25th Nano Nagle Inter-school Debate Competition on Tuesday 26 April 2022 on the occasion of Founder’s Day. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Col. R K Anuj and Guest of Honour, Rev. Fr. Antony William from St. Mary's Catholic Church, Delhi-6. The judges for the competition were multi- faceted- Mrs. Amrita Chopra, an educationist, Mr. Anmol Joshi, an advocate and Mrs Shilpa Mehta a social worker.
The topic of the debate was, 'The Progress of a Nation lies in its Military might, ' a relevant global issue of current times. Many prestigious schools of Delhi participated in the competition and expressed their point of view with reference to the ongoing Russia and Ukraine War and impressed the audience with their oratory skills.

Labour Day was celebrated in the school hall on 30 April, 2022.It was a joyous occasion that shed spotlight on the unsung heroes of the institutions. Prayers, poems and play all paid homage to the wonderful work done by the supportive staff all year round. Mr. Sudhir, the resident electrical genius of the school addressed the gathering and offered words of love and. Principal Sister Regi Joseph enamored the audience with her speech delivered in Hindi for the associability and comprehension for all. Various games were organized by the students which were tremendously enjoyed by staff.

Presentation Convent School, Delhi 6 organized the Investiture Ceremony on the 23 April 2022 for the student council 2022-23, to inculcate in the students leadership qualities and to make them understand the process of decision making and administrative mechanism. Addl. DCP Anita Roy graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Her benign presence motivated our young girls to take up positions of power and decision making.
The Oath taking ceremony by the head girl, deputy head girl followed by other members of council was a proud moment for the entire PCS family. The council member marched spritely and majestically in sync with the beating of the drums to receive their badges. The Chief Guest congratulated the newly elected student council and motivated the students to work hard with determination and perseverance. She also emphasized on the significance of being humble and approachable.

Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School, Delhi 06 organized the 21st Annual Eco-club Inter-school Debate Competition virtually on August 24, 2021. Fourteen reputed schools of Delhi and outside participated in the Inter-school event. The motion for the competition was ‘Globalization has led to Mindless Commodification of Nature’. The topic was in sync with United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals 2030, Goal No: 12- Responsible Consumption and Production, which focuses on encouraging industries, businesses and consumers to recycle and reduce waste efficiently.
The members of the jury were Dr. Meena Jethi, retired teacher and educator, Dr.B.C Sabata, former Director, MGICCC and Ms. Bhavya Chitranshi, PhD scholar & founder Ek Nari Sanghathan, Odisha.
The speakers articulated their thoughts eloquently with rich facts and arguments both for and against the motion. While few reflected on the mindless nature of commodification, others refuted the claim with conviction of a better future ahead of us.

Class 8A and 8B organised the special assembly on Independence Day paying tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives to ensure freedom for us all. The assembly also paid tribute to the front line covid workers who have been tirelessly working to rid the country of the disease. As proud children of our motherland, we are eternally thankful to our freedom fighters, soldiers and healthcare workers.
