You don’t need to read everything available. The key is to read selectively and focus on sources that actually help with concepts, thinkers, vocabulary and answer writing.

Here’s a simple reading approach:

🔹 Haralambos & Holborn – Read selectively for concepts and clarity.
🔹 Ritzer – Useful for understanding thinkers in their own terms.
🔹 Srinivas & Béteille – Focus on their primary essays instead of only summaries.
🔹 NCERT Class 11 & 12 Sociology – Helpful for building Paper 2 vocabulary and basic understanding.
🔹 Avoid unnecessary duplication – You don’t need multiple general textbooks or every “complete guide”.
🔹 L2A Notes – Use syllabus-mapped, PYQ-tagged notes for focused revision.

📌 The goal is not to read more. It is to read what helps you write better answers.
