On 19th of August 2026, SNEH International School organised an engaging fire safety awareness drill in collaboration with the Delhi Fire Services, reinforcing its unwavering commitment to students’ safety and emergency preparedness. Through practical demonstrations and expert guidance, students and staff learnt essential evacuation protocols, fire extinguisher handling and emergency responses. The session also introduced the abbreviations RACE — Rescue, Alarm, Confine, Extinguish/Evacuate — and PASS — Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep, equipping students with simple, memorable steps to respond appropriately during a fire emergency. The initiative reflected the school’s proactive approach to safety education and preparedness.

As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, students of Classes II–V participated in a creative flag-making activity on 13th of August 2026. The young learners crafted the Tricolour using mud clay, carefully shaping and moulding the material before painting their creations in the vibrant colours of the National Flag. The hands-on activity fostered creativity and craftsmanship while nurturing a deeper appreciation for the Tricolour and the values of patriotism, unity and national pride.

Students and their parents were also encouraged to hoist the National Flag at their homes and capture photographs with the Tricolour, extending the spirit of patriotism beyond the school campus and into the wider community. The initiative inspired families to celebrate the Independence day of nation together and reaffirm their pride in the National Flag.

SNEH International School conducted a special assembly on 17th of August 2026 to commemorate the Martyrdom Day of Amar Shaheed Madan Lal Dhingra, honouring his indomitable courage, patriotism and supreme sacrifice for the nation.

A student delivered an inspiring address highlighting Amar Shaheed Madan Lal Dhingra’s life, achievements and unwavering commitment to India’s freedom struggle. The tribute resonated with the spirit of sacrifice and service that defined his remarkable journey.

Adding soulful patriotic fervour to the occasion, the winners of the Annual Amar Shaheed Madan Lal Dhingra Patriotic Song Competition presented stirring renditions that filled the campus with pride and national spirit.

The assembly was a poignant reminder that the freedom we cherish today rests upon the courage and sacrifices of our brave freedom fighters.

SNEH International School Celebrates 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour

‘Freedom is not merely a gift we inherit; it is a responsibility we carry forward.’

SNEH International School celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with immense pride, patriotic fervour and a deep sense of national spirit. The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Air Marshal Rajiv Dayal Mathur , PVSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd.), Honoured Guest Mrs. Shipra Mathur, Chairman Dr. Subhash Chander Dhingra, Director-Manager Mrs. Kamlesh Jacob, Director of Strategic Planning Mrs. Alka Mathur, and Principal Ms. Komal.

Celebrations commenced with a spectacular archery performance, followed by the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag and the National Anthem. An inspiring student address highlighted that freedom is not merely a legacy, but a responsibility to uphold unity, integrity and democratic values. A stirring patriotic choir presentation and a vibrant cultural showcase inspired by Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and world peace further enriched the celebration.

The programme culminated with the symbolic release of white pigeons and tricolour balloons, followed by a resounding “Jai Hind!”

Celebrating the Spirit of Freedom

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated at our school with immense enthusiasm, patriotic fervour and a deep sense of pride. The campus came alive in the vibrant hues of the Tricolour, creating an atmosphere of joy, unity and love for our nation.

The celebration was graced by the esteemed presence of Chairman Shri Subhash Chander Dhingra, Director Manager Mrs Kamlesh Jacob, Director of Strategic Planning Mrs Alka Mathur and Headmistress Ms Sakshi. Our dignitaries were warmly welcomed with beautiful planters as a token of love and gratitude.

The programme commenced with a heartfelt Welcome address, setting the tone for a memorable celebration. Our young performers then took centre stage with a spectacular array of patriotic presentations. A vibrant patriotic dance filled the air with national pride, followed by a soulful patriotic choir that beautifully expressed the children’s love for the motherland. A thought-provoking skit portraying India’s journey to Independence beautifully highlighted the courage, determination and sacrifices of our freedom fighters, leaving the audience inspired and reflective. Adding energy and excitement to the celebration was the spectacular Sports Segment, featuring an impressive amalgamation of Gymnastics, Taekwondo and Skating. The young champions showcased remarkable agility, precision, determination, self-assurance and a strong spirit of collaboration, proving that true strength lies in dedication and perseverance.

The event concluded with the National Anthem, as every heart resonated with immense pride, respect and love for our beloved nation, leaving our young learners with cherished memories and a renewed sense of pride in being Indians.

Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign -

SNEH International School is celebrating Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign through a week-long series of activities inspiring patriotism, national pride and responsible citizenship.

As part of the ongoing celebrations, on 11th of August 2026, students engaged in various activities. Through role plays, Class II students envisioned their future roles and professions, highlighting how they aspire to serve the nation, while Classes VI–VIII explored patriotism and nation-building through posters, debates, elocution and fireless cooking, expressing their ideas with creativity and conviction.

The initiative inspired students to turn patriotic spirit into a commitment to responsible citizenship and nation-building.
