Special Assembly on BRICS Summit

Theme: “Friendship, Cooperation and BRICS”

A Special Assembly on the upcoming BRICS Summit was conducted to apprise students about the significance of BRICS and India’s role as the host nation. Students were introduced to the countries that form BRICS and learnt why the group is known by this name.

The assembly highlighted the importance of friendship, cooperation and mutual understanding among nations. Students actively participated by naming the BRICS member countries and sharing vital information about the organisation and the upcoming summit.

The assembly included News, Word of the Day and Thought for the Day. The assembly successfully enhanced students’ awareness of global events and encouraged them to become informed and responsible global citizens.

🌸 Celebrating the Spirit of Teacher’s Day!🌸

Teacher’s Day was filled with love, gratitude, joy and beautiful surprises. Our students made the day truly special for their teachers by bringing small gifts, thoughtful pens and beautiful handmade greeting cards, each carrying a little message of love and appreciation. 💝

The celebrations became even more memorable with wonderful dance performances, melodious songs and heartfelt poems presented by our students. Their confidence, creativity and affection made every moment special.

The greatest gift a teacher can receive is not something expensive—it is the love, respect, effort and heartfelt appreciation of their students. ❤️

A beautiful day celebrating the bond between teachers and students—a bond built on learning, inspiration and countless memories.

🇮🇳 Rakhi Making Activity – A Tribute to Our Brave Soldiers 🇮🇳

The students of the Primary Wing celebrated Raksha Bandhan with a meaningful Rakhi Making Activity dedicated to our brave soldiers.
🎀 With love and creativity, the students prepared beautiful handmade Rakhis for the soldiers guarding our nation.
💌 They also designed heartfelt gratitude cards expressing their respect and appreciation.
❤️ Through their messages, the young learners thanked our soldiers for their courage, sacrifice and unwavering service to the country.
🌟 The activity beautifully blended creativity with patriotism and gratitude.

🌸 Rakhi Special Assembly at DAV Public School, Rohini 🌸

Our Rakhi Special Assembly was conducted with great enthusiasm and festive spirit.
✨ Students of Class 5-B presented the assembly with the usual News, Word of the Day and Thought for the Day
🎀 Dressed beautifully for the occasion, the students added colour and joy to the celebration.
💞 A heartfelt poem beautifully reflected the special bond of love, care and affection between siblings.
👏 Principal Mrs. Rajbir Kaur applauded the students for their confident presentation and sincere efforts.
🌺 The assembly truly captured the warmth and essence of the beautiful festival of Raksha Bandhan.

श्रावणी पर्व एवं वेद सप्ताह व संस्कृत दिवस के उपलक्ष्य पर डी ए वी विद्यालय रोहिणी में भव्य यज्ञ का आयोजन किया गया । इस अवसर पर प्रधानाचार्या जी ने छात्र -छात्रों का मार्गदर्शन एवं आशीर्वाद प्रदान किया । यज्ञ एवं पर्व के महत्व पर प्रकाश डालते हुए यज्ञ ब्रह्म ने ज्ञान को प्राप्त कर श्रेष्ठ ऋषियों के परम्परा को अपनाने के प्रेरणा दी । वेदों का मार्ग सर्वश्रेष्ठ है इसे जीवन में प्राप्त कर आगे बढ़ें ।

🌟 A Morning of Learning, Awareness & Inspiration! 🌟
The students of Class IV-B, DAV Public School, Sector 7, Rohini, conducted a meaningful and vibrant morning assembly on 20th August. 🌞🌿
The assembly highlighted National Renewable Energy Day, Sadbhavana Diwas, and World Mosquito Day, spreading important messages about clean energy, peace and harmony, and healthy surroundings. 🌍🤝🦟
Our Supervisory Head, Mrs. Seema Ghai, addressed the students and beautifully elaborated on the thought:
✨ “Small actions, when done by many people, can create a big change.” ✨
She encouraged students to understand that discipline begins with small everyday actions—being punctual to school, wearing the proper school uniform, respecting school property, maintaining cleanliness, and using polite and respectful language. 🌸
Her inspiring words reminded our young learners that responsible habits today build responsible citizens tomorrow. 🌱✨

Glimpses from the English Expo

The English Expo witnessed an engaging role-play by a student portraying the Smart Homework Robo.
Through the presentation, the Robo demonstrated how students can complete their homework independently and in an organized manner.
It also highlighted the importance of managing time wisely and avoiding unnecessary distractions.
The creative role-play made the concept interesting, meaningful, and easy to understand.
The presentation was warmly appreciated by the guests and parents.
