On 12 May 2026, a Camel Colour Contest was organized at DAV Public School, Ashok Vihar, Delhi for Classes 3 and 4. The event was conducted under the guidance of Supervisory Head Ms. Harpreet Kaur and the esteemed Principal, Mrs. Kusum Bhardwaj. Students participated enthusiastically and showcased their creativity with great excitement. The activity encouraged imagination, confidence, and artistic expression among the young learners. The competition was a wonderful platform for students to display their talent. The school appreciated the active participation and efforts of all students.

🩸🎨 World Thalassemia Day Awareness Activity at DAV School, Ashok Vihar 🎨🩸
An Awareness Session along with a Poster Making Activity was conducted for students at DAV School, Ashok Vihar on the occasion of World Thalassemia Day.
Students were sensitized about thalassemia, its prevention, importance of early screening, and blood donation. They enthusiastically participated and expressed their thoughts creatively through meaningful posters ❤️

Mother’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at DAV School under the guidance of Principal Mrs Kusum Bhardwaj. Students of Classes3, 4 and 5 participated wholeheartedly in a creative card-making activity .
Class 3 students prepared beautiful flowers with mother's Day poem.
Class 4 students prepared beautiful hand-print cards, while
Class 5 students designed attractive 3D flower cards for their mothers. The activity was conducted during the Zero Period and reflected the love, gratitude, and creativity of the students. The colourful and thoughtful creations made the celebration special and memorable.

A special morning assembly on the themes of Environmental Sustainability and Red Cross Day was conducted by the students of Class XII A and XII D. The assembly aimed to spread awareness about protecting the environment and promoting humanitarian values among students.

The programme began with a thought-provoking speech highlighting the importance of sustainable living and the role of students in conserving nature. Students also spoke about the significance of Indian Red Cross Society and the importance of helping people in times of need and disaster.

An interactive quiz based on Environmental Sustainability and Red Cross Day was conducted to encourage active participation and enhance awareness among students. The assembly concluded with the distribution of “Green Warrior” badges to motivate students to adopt eco-friendly practices and become responsible citizens.

The assembly was informative, engaging, and inspired everyone to contribute towards a greener and more compassionate world. IMO medals were distributed.

With the blessings of our respected Principal Ma’am, Ms. Kusum Bhardwaj, and under the supervision of our Supervisory Head, Ms. Sangeeta Sardana Ma’am, Mother’s Day was celebrated enthusiastically by the students of Classes VI and VII on 07.05.2026 during the Zero Period. The activity was conducted to honour and appreciate the love, care, and sacrifices of mothers.

Students participated wholeheartedly in various creative activities such as **Handmade Card Making, “My Mother, My Hero” Appreciation Posters, Acrostic Poems on “MOTHER”, Gratitude Letters, Bookmark Making, Thumbprint/Handprint Art,** and **Paper Flower Bouquet Craft**. The students displayed their creativity through colourful artwork, meaningful messages, and heartfelt expressions dedicated to their mothers.

The handmade cards and gratitude letters beautifully expressed the students’ love and thankfulness, while the posters and acrostic poems highlighted the important role mothers play in their lives. The bookmarks, handprint art, and paper flower bouquets added a special artistic touch to the celebration.

The activity created a joyful and emotional atmosphere in the school and encouraged students to express their feelings with love and gratitude. It was a memorable and meaningful celebration enjoyed by all.

Our Annual Interschool Event Kriti was a vibrant celebration of creativity, talent, and collaboration! 🌟

Students from various schools came together to showcase their skills across a wide range of events, bringing alive the true spirit of healthy competition and artistic expression. From stunning artworks to captivating performances, every moment reflected passion, innovation, and teamwork.

A heartfelt congratulations to all the participants and winners for their remarkable efforts, and a special thank you to our esteemed judges and partner schools for making this event a grand success.

We are proud to host such an inspiring platform and look forward to an even bigger and better Kriti next year! 🎉✨

There were many eminent guests from Rotary Club of Delhi Uptown. They visited all the venues and encouraged the participants to perform well.

The event was conducted in association with Rahul Khanna's Education through Theatre. The special guest Mr. Rahul Khanna motivated the participants to develop practice to learn one new skill every day.

The Rolling Trophy has been bagged by Kulachi Hansraj Model School, who showed remark able achievement record in maximum competition.

The event was a huge success under visionary leadership of esteemed Principal Madam, Mrs.Kusum Bhardwaj.
The program was concluded with special address by Principal Madam who motivated all the students and congratulated the winners of different event.
