To support a teacher, you have to first truly see one.

Not just the lesson plan on paper, but the split-second decisions, the adjustments, the effort that goes unseen in any classroom.

Most people only look at classrooms. Coaches learn to see them.

Today, Chandni Chopra walks us through what it means to observe with intent: to look, listen, and understand before offering guidance.

This is what creates a difference, and it’s the difference between feedback that lands and feedback that doesn’t. And this is important, because feedback that lands is the one that enables teachers to grow and children to learn!

Let’s be honest about what social entrepreneurship actually feels like.

Most people picture it as purpose-fuelled mornings, lives changed, and inspiration at every turn.

The reality? Rejected funding proposals. Long waits at government offices. Theory of Change documents that take weeks. And the quiet, persistent question: “Is this even working?”

At Simple Education Foundation, we’ve sat with that uncertainty more times than we can count.

But then — a child understands something they couldn’t before. A teacher steps out of their comfort zone and tries something new in their classroom.

And that’s the moment everything makes sense again.

Social entrepreneurship isn’t about being inspired every day. It’s about building systems, trusting the process, and showing up — especially on the days that feel unremarkable.

Because the unremarkable days are exactly where transformation quietly begins.

💬 If you’re working in education, social impact, or teacher development — we’d love to hear what keeps you going. Drop it in the comments.

And if you know someone doing this work — tag them. They deserve to be seen. 👇

Some of the most thoughtful, deliberate, and insightful voices in the room are often the quietest. Not because they lack ideas, but because they’ve learned to second-guess themselves before they even speak.

For many women leaders, the challenge is not capability. It is the constant self-editing, self-auditing, and the silence that follows.

At Simple Education Foundation, 90% of our leadership team are women. Being a women-led organisation has shown us what becomes possible when leadership spaces are built on trust, empathy, collaboration, and the confidence to take up space.

But inclusion is not just about who is in the room. It is also about who feels heard in it.

Sometimes, creating equitable spaces means encouraging women to trust their voices. And sometimes, it means others stepping back, noticing more, and making room for someone else to step forward.

Because stronger leadership is built when more voices are heard. 💛

What’s one thing we can all do to make meetings and leadership spaces more inclusive?

A classroom became a little more like home this Mother’s Day. ❤️

To celebrate the day, government school teacher Kriti Yadav filled her classroom walls with photographs of her students and their mothers. She also created special videos for them, turning an ordinary school day into a moment of joy, surprise, and belonging. ✨

But this wasn’t just a celebration.
It was her way of telling her students: your stories, your families, and your lives outside school matter here too.

Because sometimes, learning begins with feeling seen. 🫶

At Simple Education Foundation, we believe classrooms grow stronger when children feel connected, safe, and valued not just as students, but as people.

What did you do this Mother’s Day? 🌸
Tell us in the comments or tag us in your stories; we’d love to hear your moments of celebration and connection.

And to all the teachers trying thoughtful, creative, and joyful ideas in their classrooms, we see you. ✨
If you’re experimenting with activities, classroom practices, or new ways to connect with children, tag us and share your story. Your idea might inspire another classroom somewhere else. 💫

Every child holds a world of dreams, and at the heart of every dream is a mother. From the early mornings to the endless sacrifices, she is the silent force behind every step a child takes.

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate the quiet strength of mothers who do all the work to give their children a better life.

When teachers become students, training becomes transformation. ✨

Over three energising days, educators of Delhi came together for the second year of the NIPUN Sankalp Training conducted by Simple Education Foundation.

From exploring phonics strategies to engaging with hands-on approaches for teaching mathematical concepts, the training space was filled with curiosity, collaboration, and joyful learning. Teachers actively participated in activities, shared experiences, and stepped into the shoes of learners once again.

What stood out most was the excitement in the room — conversations, laughter, reflections, and the willingness to try new ways of teaching for their classrooms.

Because meaningful classrooms begin with meaningful learning experiences for teachers too. 🌱
